If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

25-06-2021 Maggie is one of those dogs who with the right love, stimulation, kind handling and care will become a dog that is oh so special.  She has come to us from Romania where she has had a terrible start to life but she is willing to put the past behind her and ready to learn to trust and enjoy life.  We believe Maggie may have had an extremely mild and undetectable form of distemper as a baby which passed unnoticed (she has tested negative for this). This has left her with a mild neurological problem which means she has a tremor. As she's under quite a lot of stress with all the changes of the last few days the tremour is noticeable at the moment and this may diminish or remain but shouldn't get worse.
Maggie runs around like any other pup.  However because of her tremor we are making her by a minimum donation of £150 + £20 as she has a passport.  She is a young pup who needs a home who will give her the best life and love her forever.
Maggie would be much better homed with another dog but we would also consider rehoming her as an only dog in the right circumstances. This means you must be an experienced dog owner and have the extra time and patience she will need to adjust to home life and support her learning new skills like housetraining and how to walk on a lead. As an only dog Maggie needs to be regularly socialised with other dogs,
Maggie needs to attend puppy training classes and must be spayed at 6 months old.

12-07-21 UPDATE
Maggie has recently moved to a foster home. She loves a cuddle and to play with humans and dogs alike. She walks great on a lead but can be afraid of loud traffic. She is clean in the house apart from overnight. She is not keen on a crate at night however will quietly sleep through the night in her basket.

20-07-21 UPDATE

Maggie loves her twice daily walks. Her housetraining is coming along nicely. She sleeps in her basket through the night. Adores playing with her dog friends or humans.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
