06-07-21 Kerry is a shy but beautiful little girl who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She has had her face shaved but this will soon grow back. Kerry is worried about humans as she has not had much interaction with them before. When approach she will back away and hide but does allow us to pick her up despite being so worried. Kerry has never learnt how to walk on a lead and so has never experienced the pleasures of a stroll in the sunshine or kicking up autumn leaves as they fall from the trees. She has a lot to take in but as she learns we are confident that her worries will begin to melt away and she will find her own personality and begin to love her new life. She will need the support of both a patient person to help her achieve this and a kind little dog (or two!) to show her about home skills such as housetraining and be her best friend. She will need a calm home without children. Her journey may take some time but it will be so worth it.

11-07-21 UPDATE

What a difference a day makes. Since arriving in foster on Friday evening as a timid, nervous little girl Kerry has made huge leaps and bounds in only 24 hours. Kerry is a very loving little dog who so desperately wants to be brave and be by your side. Wherever I go, she goes now. She comes up to me and licks my hand. When you talk softly to her she moves her head from side to side. She really does melt your heart. Kerry just loves dogs (and food). She plays like a puppy. Kerry must have at least only very gentle but playful dog in her new home. Kerry still has a way to go but with time, oceans of love and patience someone (very lucky) will have the perfect canine companion.

18-07-21 UPDATE
Kerry continues to grow in confidence day by day and is becoming quite a little character. She loves being in a home and is a very inquisitive little girl.
Kerry's quite happy with a range of dogs and has discovered toys (she loves Billie Blue Bear).
She  visited the vet on Thursday to have her second vaccination and everyone fell in love with her. She was such a superstar.
Kerry's travelling Buddy, MT Ripps, left for her forever home on Friday but Kerry seems unfazed by her departure.
Kerry really is a beautiful little dog who deserves an amazing forever home of her own.

02-08-21 UPDATE

Kerry has been in foster with our family for a couple of weeks now and she continues to grow in confidence. The hair around Kerrys face is growing back lovely and she is such a cute, inquisitive, funny little girl.
Kerry is gentle and playful. You will often find her doing zoomies around the garden or kitchen island. She is so playful and loves other dogs of all sizes.
Kerry is also growing in confidence with her human family, she is so excited to see me on a morning and comes up to lick my hands, legs and face. She is timid at being touched but this will come in time with a patient adopter. Kerry could live with older children who respect her insecurities at the minute.
This little girl is an absolute delight to have in our home and someone will be so very lucky to have her.

06-08-21 UPDATE

Kerry continues to make great progress in our home. Shes lively, playful and very gentle. She is growing in confidence every day and continues to get into mischief. Shes happy wandering around on her own and sleeping in her own bed or equally likes to join in the fun and games with the 2 resident spaniels.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
