If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

09-08-21 Lacey is a worried girl who has come to us from a breeder.  She is shy and uncertain about us at the moment so will need a home where there is at least one other dog to help her confidence.  She has never lived in a home so this will be new and somewhat scary for her at first. Lacey is a quiet lady and all your want to do is cuddle her and reassure her that everything is going to be alright.  Once she knows you she does actually like the attention.  Lacey already walks on a lead but is limping so our vet will have a look at this.  She may need help with house training but it shouldn't take her long to pick this up if she does.  We think Lacey is going to be a very loyal girl.

10-08-21 UPDATE
Lacey is a gentle pretty girl who walks really well on a lead, but is still apprehensive about having a fuss. She's most comfortable in the company of her energetic kennel mate.

17-08-21 UPDATE
Lacey is such a sweetheart! She walks great on the lead and when she knows you she will come up to you for a little fuss and look to you for reasurance when in unfamiliar surroundings. She can be quite timid and will jump at loud noises or fast movements so a calm environment with a resident dog will be needed at the moment

20-09-21 UPDATE
Gorgeous Lacey is now in foster and is settling really well into home life. She particularly adores going for walks, travels well in the car and walks beautifully on a lead and is happy meeting other dogs. She will want an active home (at 6 she is still young and is getting fitter!). She has good recall in a calm environment and is clean in the house and sleeps through the night.
Lacey is still very timid and nervous meeting new people, but loves coming over for a stroke from those she knows - she is a very gentle soul. Lacey is on foster with a child and could live with older children as long as she is given time and patience, after which she will be a very loyal companion. She also lives with chickens and small furries and shows no interest in cats.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
