If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

Logic is looking for an experienced adopter and a one person household.
He will need to be homed as an only dog, with no visiting dogs.
Please read all of his updates in full.

20-04-22 Logic originally came from a breeder to find his loving home. He did find a home but sadly this has not worked out because he started to show negative behaviour towards the adopters female partner. His adopter made the very difficult decision to part with him but really loved this little fellow very much and bonded so well with him. Logic is currently being treated for an eye ulcer. Logic is lovely boy but he is confused and his ideal home would be a single occupancy household where he can bond with his special person and not have to share them with other dogs or family members. He wont be able to live with children and we would not be able to consider a home with visiting children.
Logic loves long sniffy walks and enjoys his food. Do you have a beagle shaped hole in yoru home you could fill and spend your life with this lovely lad?

Logic is the most well behaved boy in kennels! However when he's  is in a home, after a few months once he's settled he starts to guard one person from the other, and for this reason we are looking for Logic to be the only dog in the home, to a single person household who is happy to seperate Logic whenever any guests come, until they are confident in managing this potential guarding behaviour. We would consider a multiperson household but only if the people are *VERY* experienced with this kind of thing and prove they are willing to work through it. We also know that in a home he does struggle to settle at night if he has not been mentally excercised just as much as physically.
Logic is the most loving boy, and will be such an incredible companion to the right person. He doesn't ask for much, just lots of cuddles and walks, and someone to stick by him when he's settled and his quirky behaviours appear. He loves long sniffy walks, and playing the day away. I promise he will return your love a million times over!

24-05-22 UPDATE

Logic's first few weeks back here have been busy for him! He's slotted back into kennel life absolutely fine, enjoying long walks and toys to play with in his kennel.
He's been popping in and out of our on site vet like it's the local, for a painful ulcer on his eye, and he had a road trip to an eye specialist, they gave us some magic serum for him and now his eye is completely healed! And since it's all better he is back to the happy happy pain free boy that we all know and love!
I'm also happy to report that his driver said he slept the whole way and was an absolute star with the intrusive vet procedures!
We are all heartbroken that Logic has come back, but at least this time we can find the most perfect person who's willing to give him everything he could ever want. Logic is just a grumpy old man who wants 1 human to himself! Who can blame him? His whole life he's never had anyone (or anything) that is his and only his to love! But now we are looking for that perfect person for him to spend the rest of his days with, long sniffy walks, long naps on the sofa, fun play times and tasty meal times!
Today we took Logic to the beach, he loved all the new smells, the wind through his ears, and was really curious about the sea! I hope someone will fall for this old man and give him as many trips to the beach he could possibly hope for! He was a star in the car, just sat looking out the window, and on the way home he snuggled down for a nap. I can't wait for Logic to go to his forever home.

02-07-22 UPDATE

Logic aka Logeroo. I'm really running out of things to say for this boy, he's just amazing. All he asks for is a single person home, someone who's confident to manage his insecurities when there's visitors or other people around his person, that's all!
Logic loves his sniffy walks, cosy bed, and food puzzles. He is so so affectionate and just wants love all the time, a true loyal companion. It's coming up to a year since Logic first ever came to us, and it's breaking my heart that such a lovely gentle boy has had to wait this long for the right person. I'm hoping he'll be in his forever home asap.

05-07-22 UPDATE
Logic is just the most adorable boy ever, he is a ready made best friend for someone who is looking for an only dog who has the biggest personality!
He loves to give his humans the best snuggles and kisses, he would spend all day pushing his bum on to your lap if he had the chance.
Every moment with Logic is a moment well spent, that is for certain!
He's not had the best of luck with finding his forever home, but maybe that will change soon, maybe his forever person is reading this right now, thinking that they have a Logi-bum shaped hole in their life and they'll be right, because everyone would do well to have.
Logic snuggles whenever they want, to have the best adventure companion, to have the best beagle sized lap warmer on a cold winters night.
There isn't a person in the world whose lives wouldn't be made better by having THE Logic in their lives. But it needs to be the right fit for Logic first and foremost.
Please read his profile page to learn more about his needs and his story.

23-09-22 UPDATE
Logic spent a few weeks in an experienced foster home but unfortunately it didn't work out and so he has come back to kennels again.
In foster he was an absolute angel for the first 3 weeks but then started guarding again and marking, and was making the resident dogs unhappy. It is a shame but luckily Logic doesn't mind kennels too much, he loves all the fuss and walks he gets with volunteers.
We have learnt that Logics "quirks" will not become apparent until a month or 2 in, which is the time frame that he has been returned 3 times now, so any potential adopters must be prepared for this time frame and willing to work with it. Logic can not just go to someone who think they might be able to manage him, he needs someone who will prove that they are committed and devoted to his needs and requirements.
Logic spent 10 years of his life with nothing nice, and so feels the need to guard his most valuable thing, his human! Who can blame him? Each time he has showed this behaviour, he has been returned and lost his very valuable human, which is only going to reinforce this behaviour. He has never stayed with someone longer than 3 months, so we can't say whether this behaviour will settle or not. I like to think once he learns that his person is not going to give up on him, it may settle down, but you would have to be prepared for it to not settle and accept that this is what Logic is like if you were thinking of adopting him.
Have a read through each update to see just how much love this boy has to give. He is the cuddliest happiest old man in the world, and doesn't deserve everything he's been through.

The home we are very specifically looking for, for Logic:

  • ONLY DOG in the household. No visiting dogs.
  • One person household, confident to manage/seperate him when visitors come into the home.
  • Can live with cats but adopter must be confident to manage Logic if the cat wanted to sit on your lap and Logic was to guard you.
  • Adopter who understands that dogs expressing their feelings is not a bad thing, and must be respected and worked with.
  • Adopter who will absolutely not give up on Logic, who has read all of his updates thoroughly and is willing to work with him and let whatever time he has left be the happiest time of his life.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
