If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

30-08-21 Rumour is a very scared girl who has come to us to find her forever home.  She is worried about this new world she has never seen before and will need a home where there is at least one other dog to help her confdence.  Rumour will need to learn about house training and lead walking and these will come with owners who have plenty of time, love and patience to help her.  Once Rumour settles into her new life she will really start to enjoy lovely walks and and simply being loved, safe and happy.

30-09-21 UPDATE

Rumour has been with us quite a while and I have no idea why. She is great with other dogs, walks on a lead, is loving once she knows you, she plays and jumps up for fuss. I can not fault her, with anything, she even shares her food bowl. Rumour will need a doggy friend in her new home as she is a little too timid to be an only. I will really miss seeing her face, but she's already spent far too long in kennels.

07-10-21 UPDATE
Rumour has settled into foster so quickly, she found her spot on the couch within 10 minutes! She loves to snuggle up to you and wiggle around in a pile of blankets.
Her house training is brilliant, she has 1/2 accidents on the first day but hasn't since and is happy to go in the garden and on walks.
She sleeps well in the crate (once she is convinced off of the couch!).
She travels well in the car and is probably the quietest and most chilled dog I've ever been in a car with!
Her happy places are the sofa and outside. She loves a walk and has enjoyed some long beach walks with our dog. She also loves to play with our dog in the garden.
She has been left for approx 1 hour whilst she was asleep.
All in all she has settled well and chills a bit more with every day. Once she 100% trusts in you she will be such a wonderful dog.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
