30-08-21 Quierow is a beautiful ex breeding beagle who is looking for her fairytale ending. She has heard of princes who come riding white horses and save the princess so they can live happily ever after. Quierow has waited a long time but no prince ever came and in time she lost hope of ever finding one. She has held her head too low for too long and desperately needs to find her hope again. She doesnt need a prince, or a white horse. She just needs someone to hold her paw gently, look into those big brown eyes and tell her everything is going to be ok. She needs an experienced adopter of scared dogs to see her frightened face and give her the commitment she deserves to help her settle into a home. She needs a resident dog to guide her and show her the ropes as she wont have any knowledge of house training or lead walking and someone will need to show her how to put her beagley nose to good use and where the most smelly and wonderful scents are to sniff out, She will take baby steps forwards but in time, this princess is going to be fantastic, with sparkle in her eyes, a shiny coat and best of all, with a heart full of love that she freely gives to the person who loved her enough to give her the happy ever after she totally deserves.

14-10-21 UPDATE

Quierrow has been at the centre for a long time now and I'm not sure why she's so overlooked. She now walks on a harness when out on walks, but just a slip lead to and from the sandschool. She is in with males and females, although she does need to rehomed with dogs her size or larger. She doesn't like sharing her food and will tell dogs to go away from it, but she's never snapped at them. She is a very sweet girl, still not keen on being fussed, but has come a very long way since arriving. I hope someone adopts her soon, she really deserves the comfort of a home now.

10-01-22 UPDATE

This absolutely stunning girl is still waiting in kennels, she is a different dog than was first carried to her kennel, but she still has a way to go when trusting new people. She walks on a lead, she loves her food, she gets on with most dogs but she needs a home with dogs larger than herself and ideally it would be one male. She would like a home with no young children, but teenagers that will be gentle and patient with her should be okay. She really is going to be an absolutely amazing friend to the people that pour all of their love in to her.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
