31-10-21 Delilah is a very pretty beagle who has come to us from a breeder. She is a worried girl who is not used to human contact and will need at least one kind dog in her new home who can be her friend and teach her all about her new life. She has never lived in a home before so will need to learn all about things like house training but this will take her time to learn as she is not used to the outside so the garden can be as scary as a home at first.  Delilah doesn't yet know how to walk on a lead, but with time, love and some gentle encouragment and in time she will discover herself and begin to want to explore the world with her beagley nose.

01-12-21 UPDATE

This beautiful girl is Delilah, she has been here a little while now and it’s such a shame because she could be making so much progress in a home.
Delilah is a very scared little dog, who really needs people who have experience with scared dogs. She doesn’t like being handled at the moment and everything is on her terms. She is so happy and playful when she’s with her doggy friends, she just needs to see that she can also have fun with people. She is very cheeky and more confident when there is a door between us and her, she needs to learn that nothing bad will happen when she doesn’t have the comfort of that barrier. This means that her new owners will need to be very patient and understanding and not push her too much. It will take time and work for Delilah to gain her confidence but the rewards will undoubtedly be worth it all.
She is so lovely and you can see how desperate she is to be brave, but unfortunately kennels are not the right environment for her to make any real progress
