09-11-2021 Sheba is a very nervous girl who has come to us from a breeder.  She is very worried about finding herself here but she has only just arrived so she may feel a little braver once she has settled in.  Sheba is looking for a quiet, adult only home with an adopter who has experience with GSDs or similar breeds and who have worked with worried dogs before so understand the time and patience she will need to help her settle into life in a home.  She gets on very well with other dogs and will need at least one other resident dog in her new home who can be her friend help her learn all about home life and things like house training and how to walk on a lead. Sheba cannot live with cats and will chase horses, so will need a home with no small furries or livestock.   With time and love she will start to blossom and will let her true personaility shine through.

03-12-21 UPDATE
Sheba has really come out of herself since being here. She now walks on the lead, and although quite hesitant at first she does love a fuss and a sneaky kiss when she can. I can't quite believe Sheba has been waiting this long for a home. She is so lovely.
She keeps watching her kennel friends get adopted, leaving her behind in kennels and each time one leaves she goes back into herself until she's kennelled with another dog, after seeing the difference in her with and without a kennel mate I really believe that Sheba definitely needs a resident dog to show her the ropes and help her along in home life.
After seeing how she has come out of herself in a kennel environment I really think she won't take long to be the lovely companion pet dog that she should've always been. Through the day she is generally clean in her kennel, so house training shouldn't take too long either.
She has so much love to offer and I can't wait for the perfect human to come and offer her the same amount back.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
