If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

20-11-21 Jazz has come to us from a breeder and is looking for a VERY special home as she is incontinent and requires tending to often throughout the day to ensure she is kept clean and her skin doesn’t suffer. Other than this she is a normal, happy and fun dog. Jazz is in a foster home and her fosters have got into a very good routine of cleaning and managing her needs with the help of lots of supporters who donated suitable nappies for her and creams to care for her skin. Jazz is SO happy and loves to play so would need another, preferably playful, dog to play with and a human that i

s happy to meet all of her needs.  If that's you need to be in the financial postion to cover the cost of nappies and creams in order to keep Jazz happy and confortable for the rest of her life.

26-11-21 UPDATE

Jazz has been with us for a week now and she has truly blown us away with her confidence, adaptability and zest for life!
Jazz LOVES to play with our other dogs, thoroughly enjoys her food and treats and has even learnt how to walk on a lead!
We have found managing jazz’s incontinence so much easier than we anticipated. Jazz has lots of reusable nappies but she only wears them for a couple of hours through the day and is mostly without them now as we have been managing very well. As a result, Jazz’s skin around her bottom is pretty normal now and won’t require much attention. Jazz lets us help her to pee when we go to the garden and so she leaks very little in the house now and we have been feeding her a raw diet so that her poop is very manageable in small little drops, usually whilst she sleeps which is so much more manageable and pleasant for Jazz.
We took Jazz to the beach on a long line and she had the time of her life, sprinting and galloping through the puddles, chasing the other dogs and even running after a ball, is was such a delight to see.
Jazz has an injured tail and weak back legs due to muscle atrophy but even over the course of a week Jazz has gone from stumbling and falling to being able to run and play, her legs are growing stronger every day and aren’t proving to be an issue at all and will continue to grow stronger.
We appreciate that it seems like a lot to take on a dog with such issues but if you knew Jazz you could immediately see why it is all worth while (not that she even takes that much work now we have got into a routine!) and we would love for her to find that special someone to take her on and show her the good life

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
