If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

19-11-21 Rocky has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. He is a very sweet boy although he can be a little nervous and unsure to start with but he does come around quickly and is happy to be handled. Rocky will need another kind dog in his new home to be his friend and playmate and teach him all about his new life although his confidence has grown so now we think he could be homed as an only dog. He has never lived in a home before so everything will be very new to him and he will never have experienced things like sofa snuggles or curling up in front of the fireplace. Rockys adopters will need to be kind and patient as he learns all about things like house training as well as how to walk on a lead. With time and love he is going to grow up to be the most wonderful lad. Rocky has a Grade 2 heart murmur, he doesn't require any medication for this but it is something his new adopter and their vets will need to monitor. Rocky has a passport.

24-11-21 UPDATE
Rocky has seen the vet as he appeard to have a broken tail but sadly it appears he possibly has a broken pelvis which has resulted in him being bowel incontinent and we are monitoring this and if this is the case it may never change so Rocky needs an extra special home who are able to cope with this and provide him with everything he needs.

28-11-21 UPDATE
If anyone interested in adopting Rocky would like some advice from someone who has had dogs with his problem before we will be happy to put them in touch with them.

03-12-21 UPDATE
Rocky is an extremely special young man who is looking for an equally special home that will meet his requirements. He is such a sweet, comical and affectionate boy … BUT, he’s got fecal incontinence so he will need a very understanding and patient home. At the moment we clean his back end in the bath every day, and we have shaved around the area to make things a bit more comfortable for him. He’s an angel in the bath as he’s completely used to it now.
Since he’s arrived here his confidence has grown more and more and he’s turning into a little cheeky chappy .. as a 6 month old Cockapoo should be! Because of this, we now think he could be homed as an only dog in the right home. He’s never lived in a house before so his new owners would need to have the time to teach him everything he needs to know and show him all the home comforts he’s been missing out on. He’s also not walking on a lead yet, but we are going to start harness training him now that his confidence has grown. This will be another thing his new owners will need to work with him on.
We do plan on getting some nappies for Rocky to get him used to wearing them. Hopefully this will be a bit of a head-start for his new owners.
He is such a darling boy and it makes me sad that he’s still here because of his incontinence. It’s not his fault … so please don’t make him wait much longer.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
