If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

04-02-22 Mush is a charming, very friendly Rottie Cross who has come from a home where sadly the family moved and they were not able to take Mush and his son Ward with them. They tried to find a home for their beloved boys but time ran out for them and they reluctantly placed them into kennels and kept searching for a home from afar. When no home was found, we were eventually approached to take them and here they are.
Mush is a strong dog and pulls on a lead so needs an adopter who is experienced with large dogs and is physically able to walk him and who will work with him to help him learn to walk more calmly. We will start introducing Mush to a Halti which may help.
Whilst Mush does have good manners generally and doesn't jump up too much, He is big and could accidentally knock someone frail or very small over so he needs to be homed where any children are teens and fully understand he needs his own space.
Mush is a stunning boy who has known love and lost it and sometimes this breaks our hearts just as much much as those dogs that have never known what they are missing out on. Mush is looking for a home without cats. He has a passport

10-05-22 UPDATE

Mush is an absolutely stunning dog, handsome, cuddly, soft and just a big teddy bear but he does need a home without cats or any other small furries. He has been kennelled with another dog and alone to see how he copes without Ward and he was fine so would be great as an only dog. He meets other dogs well and has been kennelled with females and is playful with them. We'd like an experienced home, because he can be reactive on the lead if he's with another dog, and he is also now halti trained. He's so cute and lovable, he's going to make some home really happy

19-07-22 UPDATE

Mush breaks my heart every day, as I’m typing this he’s curled up on my lap, tail wagging, enjoying a bum scratch. In the right environment he’d make the easiest and most loving companion.
Mush would be better suited as an only dog, he loves attention and having fuss so much, he’d thrive beautifully being the centre of attention! He has been kennelled with other dogs, big female labs or similar size and has been fine with them, however kennel environment can stress him.
He walks well on the lead, enjoys gently sniffing and exploring, however isn’t the type of dog you could take to a busy park as he can become stressed in busy environment, so new owners would have to take this on board and be understanding and respectful of Mush’s best interests.
Mush loves water, going for a paddle in the stream or playing with the hose pipe, definitely brings out his puppy side!
He travels well in the car, only short journeys so far to get him used to travelling.
Given love and guidance Mush will certainly be an amazing friend, he just needs someone who fits his criteria to give him a chance!

08-08-22 UPDATE
Mush is still waiting for his forever home. We really don't understand why as he is truly amazing and in the right home he will thrive.
We are looking for a home where Mush will be the only dog in the home as he loves all the attention to himself, this doesn't mean he's not good with other dogs, he just prefers to have all the attention to himself.
Mush passes dogs fine and doesn't react while walking passed them. He loves nothing more than to have long walks and do his favourite by playing with the hose pipe! He would play all day and also loves a good game of fetch.
If your looking for a big companion then look no further!

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
