If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

02-03-22 Swany is a beautiful girl who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She is rather unsure at the moment but will approach us so long as she is with her kennel friends and will give us a good sniff with her beagley nose! Away from her friends she is much more worried and cannot find the courage to approach us yet. She will need at least one kind dog in her new home that is a similar size or perhaps a bit smaller, that is happy to snuggle up with her and show her everything is ok. Swany could live with experienced tees who understand that she needs time and space to find her feet and settle into home life. Swany needs an experienced adopter to take her by the paw and show her how lovely her life can be. She needs to learn about house training, lead walking and other home skills and in time she will love long scent-filled walks with her new family

27-03-22 UPDATE

Swany is perfect! I couldn’t believe she was 6 years old as she is so gentle and lively like a young beagle pup, she was SO interested in all the doggy smells on us and her tail did not stop wagging the entire time, I didn’t want to leave!
She is going to be an absolute delight for some lucky family and she deserves the world. She loves to go on sniffy adventures and cuddling up with her kennel friends and adores us humans. Let’s hope she isn’t waiting too long to bring such joy to someone’s home!

Swany is an amazing girl with so much love and great energy. She is a little bit shy and timid to begin with but in no time atall she comes out of her self. She has a lot of energy and just wants to play and walk and honestly loves having her picture taken. She likes the simpler things in life like a good environment, lots of attention and plenty of love. She plays well with others and comes alive when she’s around people. She really does deserve her forever home and her forever humans

13-05-22 UPDATE
Swany (known as Bella in foster) the Beagle is such a gorgeous girl....she's so friendly with all dogs and humans, so full of beans and inquisitive.
She's doing so well adjusting to home life....she's nearly there with toilet training and isn't phased by every day noises in the home and surrounding area. She doesn't bark much at all and loves to nap in her cozy bed through parts of the day. She's discovering toys, treats, playing games and sniffy country walks which she absolutely adores (although needs a bit more help with walking on a lead)
She wants to be involved in everything...she's very "helpful" with household jobs and gardening (in her own way!) everything is so interesting for her at the moment. She travels well in the car and sleeps brilliantly through the night.
She would like a home with a kind resident dog as she adores dog company, She would love an owner who is around most of the day to give her lots of attention and give her regular good walks where she can run on a long lead. If you have the love, time, capacity and energy, like going for walks and have a secure garden, this lovely girl will give you so much love and joy back... she's such a sweetheart.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
