03-08-23 Teddy Bear is a handsome Pomski who has been returned to us from his home as despite his previous adopters best efforts to support his anxieties and resource guarding, Teddy Bear still showed this behaviour and the owner had to make the very tough decision to return him. Teddy Bear has some really great qualities, he is smart, switched on, eager to learn and loves to run and play. He has his favourite toys and teddies but does have the tendancy to guard them on occasion. Here at the rescue, this boy is such great fun, he would make a perfect jogging partner for someone, he even goes out walking with volunteers and has been no issue whatsoever. Teddy really thrives with good guidance and boundaries, he needs a confident and experienced owner who can really see the best in him. Teddy can be strong willed and refuse to come in from the garden and he needs someone who can help him understand that he cannot make all of these decisions himself.
He walks well on a halti, knows how to sit, wait and give his paw. He loves a Kong filled with sausages to keep him occupied. He is a high energy boy who needs a large amount of exercise and physical stimulation to keep his body channelled and stimulated. He would not do well with livestock or horses so needs to be walked well away from these. He can greet other dogs very well whilst out but can be reactive to the odd dog, especially to entire male dogs and he can get frustrated if a dog is running free and he wants to play with them but isn't able to. He has played well with dogs in doggy daycare so he is well socialised but he has struggled to live in a home and share his space with another dog so he will need to be rehomed as an only dog in his new home. Teddy needs a home without any children or visiting children due to the above reasons. He is a complex dog who needs understanding and guidance but we also know he is fun, loyal and so worth your time and commitment.

18-08-23 UPDATE

Teddy Bear is an adorable boy, he’s a big bundle of fluff and fun. Some of his favourite things are walks, cuddles and food and he would so love a home that can give him lots of these things. He is a smart boy and already knows some tricks such as paw, sit and down and I am sure would be very keen to learn more. He walks beautifully on lead, and is unfazed by vehicles passing by. Teddy Bear was reported as showing signs of resource guarding in his previous home, keeping this in mind,we would suggest an adult only home. Teddy would be best in a home where he will be the only dog, as he does not get on with all dogs. If you feel you could give this delightful boy the life he deserves please do get in touch.

04-09-23 UPDATE

Recently Teddy bear has been getting to know some new friends, he absolutely loves playing in the yard with them which is amazing for us to see! He is a very friendly boy who loves being around people and having cuddles, he walks great on the lead and enjoys taking in all his surroundings. In his home he would like to be an only dog but he does love meeting a friend to walk with and have some play time.
Teddy bear is a big cuddle monster who just needs a new start in life, he is one of the sweetest dogs here and a firm favourite with the staff.

07-10-23 UPDATE

Teddy bear is the most handsomest and sweetest angel, and I honestly can’t understand why he hasn’t been adopted yet. He is very friendly, he’s great with people and other dogs and really enjoys playing with them out in the yard, or going on walks with them.
Teddy walks extremely well on a lead and will listen to you, he loves going on walks and gets very excited when he sees you come up to his kennel to see him. He has two different colour eyes which I think makes him more beautiful. He loves a fuss and he is kennel clean so he will only go to the toilet outside.
If you think you could be the right people for Teddy bear then come to the rescue and meet him, I can guarantee he’ll put a smile on your face and you’ll fall in love with him very quickly.
So please consider giving him his forever home, he just wants a family of his own who will love and care for him and he will give you so much love back.

19-10-23 UPDATE

We absolutely love Teddy bear here at the rescue, he is very popular with all the staff. He is just a gorgeous, cheeky guy. He walks beautifully on lead, and goes out with all our volunteers. He’s happy to be groomed and here at the rescue he’s totally kennel clean. He’s a bright boy and understands very quickly what’s expected of him, and really enjoys learning new tricks. Teddy loves to run about in the yard with some of the other dogs here at the rescue, you can see from his pics he has some great friends, however he prefers to be kennelled alone and for that reason we feel a home as an only dog would be perfect, but he will happily enjoy visits to the park or play dates to catch up with other dogs. As much as Teddy loves to walk, do tricks and play, he also loves a snuggle and would so love a home to call his own with a human to curl up with each night.

02-11-23 UPDATE

Another week, another Teddy Bear update. Honestly it baffles me why he's still here. He's the most gorgeous and sweetest boy. He loves people and gets excited when he sees you walking to his kennel. He loves a fuss and a cuddle, he also loves to play, with people and with other dogs, his two best friends at the rescue are Sky and Drummer and they play together a few times every day, and he absolutely loves it. Teddy Bear will happily go for a walk with you anytime and is excellent on the lead.
I hope his forever home is out there somewhere, I really really do. Why wouldn't you want to be going out on adventures with this lovely boy? Or being cuddled up with him in the evenings? He's not hard work, he won't take long to house train, he's already completely kennel clean at the rescue, meaning he won't go to the toilet unless he's outside, so please, if you can find it in your heart to rehome a bigger dog like Teddy, I can promise you he'll make you so so happy, there'll never be a dull moment with him around.

05-11-23 UPDATE

Teddy Bear is such a character, he is definitely a staff favourite here. I cannot believe he is still in kennels after all this time. As you can see he is very handsome and a unique looking dog, so he does stand out. He's very clever, loves learning tricks and performing them for you, Teddy Bear adores his food, so teaching him new tricks is quite simple, as long as you bring the squirty cheese! I've found He's very loyal too, when he spots his favourite people he jumps with excitement and will not leave you're side when you walk with him. Teddy Bear craves for attention and thrives when given to him, so we make sure to send him out for walks daily with volunteers, as he loves meeting new people and being the centre of attention. As Teddy Bear is from a home, he keeps his kennel spotless and will only toilet outside and is already house trained, so he will settle into a home straight away, Teddy Bear loves his personal space so we don't kennel him with other dogs, but he absolutely loves his play dates so daily we send him out with other playful dogs and he can't get enough of it. This handsome boy has been at Many Tears for far too long now, and deserves the chance to find his forever home and new loving family, will you give him the chance to progress to the next chapter in his life ?

08-11-23 UPDATE

A day in the life of Teddy-Bear!
I thought I’d share a few photos of a typical day for Teddy-Bear here at the rescue, from all his playdates to time with the our lovely volunteers and cuddles with us. As spoilt as he is here, it never compares to a home and every evening when I say goodnight, Teddy-bear looks at me with those beautiful eyes asking why do I have to spend another night alone in kennels.  If you think you could give this super boy a home please do put an application in.

23-11-23 UPDATE

Just a little update of this gorgeous boy, having his daily cuddles. How can anyone resist that little face!
Still full of beans, but still enjoying snuggles. He told me today he’d really love to be in a home soon and I really hope someone out there could give this smart, cheeky and loveable boy the home he so deserves.

10-01-24 UPDATE

Teddy Bear is a husky sized pomsky loved by so many but never picked. He’d love to be some ones special dog. Please see all about him and maybe you will falll in love!!! He’s waited so long for some one!!!

08-02-24 UPDATE
This gorgeous, cheeky boy is living his best life, but we know it could be so much better if he was in his own home. If you are an adult only home (with no dogos already, he likes a play, but prefers his space indoors) and are looking for a loveable, energetic and smart boy then please do consider this fantastic boy.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
