If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

08-04-22 Monday has come to us from a breeder and although she is only young she is a very worried pup who has not been socialised or handled so is very unsure about us at the moment. Monday will need an adult only home as she does growl when you approach her but this is just through pure fear and she doesn't bite but children would simply be too overwhelming for her.
She will need at least one other dog in her new home who is older than her but young enought to teach her to play and to be her friend.  This will help her adjust to her new life much more easily as she is much happier when with her canine friends. We think with the help of another dog Monday will soon start to gain some confidence with people and this will also help her to learn about toilet training and how to walk on a lead.  These are skills that may take her a little time to learn but she will get there with gentle words of encouragement and praise.  With time, love and patience Monday will truly blossom into the happy little pup she should have always been.

23-05-22 UPDATE

Monday is still pretty shy and very slowly getting used to people. When you first go into her kennel she does shy away and run around. But when you sit down she'll pop into the bed next to you and sniff your outstretched hand and she did give a few kisses as well.
I think when Monday gets into a home environment she'll be able to come out of her shell and show herself to be a very sweet little girl.
Monday gets a lot of her confidence from her kennel friends even though she is one of the most confident of the kennel at the moment, so she will need a kind resident dog to show her how safe people can be.

15-06-22 UPDATE

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
