If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

08-04-22 Moony has come to us from a breeder and although she is only young she is a very scared and shut down pup who has not be socialised or handled so is not happy to be around humans at the moment. Moony is extremely frightened of everything going on around her and we feel she may bite if she feels threatened so she needs an experienced adult only home as children would simply be too overwhelming for her.
Moony will need at least one other dog in her new home who is older than her but young enough to teach her to play.  Her new friend(s) will help her to adjust to her new life as she is much happier when with her canine friends. We think with the help of another dog Moony will start to gain some confidence with people and this will also help her to learn about toilet training and how to walk on a lead.  These are skills that may take her a little time to learn but she will get there with gentle words of encouragement and praise.  With time, love and patience Moony will start to come out of her shell and become the happy little pup she should have always been.

04-06-2022 UPDATE

Moony is a lovely little girl who unfortunately doesn't yet understand the touch of human hands and because of this may bite out of fear (although she hasn't done that here). She is very playful with our others dogs and also plays with toys.
Moony is very inquisitive and will follow you to see what's happening.  She has started to come to our hands and give a lick and sniff.  She also will lie down near you and if you're slow and steady sometimes you can get a little fuss but after a while Moony seems to realise what your doing and she'll move away from you.
Her house training is ongoing but has improved since shes been with us. Moony doesn't walk on a lead yet but once she get more comfortable around humans were sure she'll pick up walking quite fast. She really is a lovely little girl who will make a wonderful pet for someone who is will to put the time, love and patience into her. Due to how she is at the moment we would be looking to home her somewhere without young children or even visiting young children

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
