If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

15-04-2022 Sammy is one of 4 puppies rescued form a kill shelter in Romanian.  They may be siblings but we can't be sure.  Sammy is will need another dog in his new home as he is extremely worried about us and runs and hides when approached.  He needs an experienced, calm and quiet adult only home where there is at least one other dog to boost his confidence and this will help him to learn about house training and lead walking but these are things that may take him a little while to pick up due to his fear.  Although he is a puppy Sammy is going to need a special home and in time and with love and patience he will become a lovely and boy to have in your home.  Sammy has a passport and clear brucella test.

13-05-22 UPDATE
Sammy has absolutely blossomed into the most playful and loving little pup since being on my section and I have to say I’m a bit smitten with him!! I mean, just look at that face .. how could you not be!?
He is no longer the scared and timid boy he was when he came in, but instead a happy and waggy boy who is very inquisitive about what the world has to offer. He is very playful with his kennel friends (especially his beagle friend) and he has also started to play with toys this week. He is also very affectionate when he knows you and loves to give kisses!
Sammy would still like a home with a resident dog to learn from as he’s never been inside a home before, so everything will be completely brand new for him. He’ll need to learn how to walk on a lead and need to be house trained, but having a resident dog to copy will be really helpful for him.
His new owners will need to be understanding and patient with him, and be okay with the fact it may take him a while to become a ‘normal’ dog. He could be homed with older teenagers, just as long as they are sensible and also dog savvy because he does like to jump up. He’s going to make a wonderful companion in the right home!!

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
