If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

15-04-2022 Suggs is one of 4 puppies rescued form a kill shelter in Romanian.  They may be siblings but we can't be sure.  Suggs will need another dog in his new home as he is extremely scared, tries to hide in his kennel and runs when approached.  He needs an experienced, calm and quiet adult only home where there is at least one other dog to boost his confidence and this will help himto learn about house training and lead walking but these are things that may take him a little while to pick up due to his fear.  Although he is a puppy Suggs is going to need a special home and in time and with love and patience he will become a lovely and boy to have in your home.  Suggs has a passport and clear brucella test.

16-05-22 UPDATE

This handsome little guy is Suggs and he is just the cutest dude.
Suggs was very shut down when he arrived at MT, but with the help of his kennel friend and lots of love from the humans here, he has already blossomed in to a much happier pup. That being said, he still has a lot of confidence left to gain and for this reason he MUST have a resident dog in his new home, he would prefer a household with older teenagers or no children at all, he will find them far too much.
Suggs is very scared of cats at the moment, he won't go near them, but he could potentially live in a home with them if they are nice to dogs.
I can not stress how lovely this little guy is, he walks on a lead as long as his friend is beside him, he loves to play when he feels safe and does love a cuddle from people he knows. I hope he's not kept waiting much longer.

28-06-22 UPDATE
How is Suggs still in kennels? The sweetest, cutest, most loving little guy you could ask for, just sitting in a kennel being constantly overlooked.
Suggs is looking for a home with atleast one other resident dog, any size or breed or gender, as long as a dog respects his space at first, allows him to warm to them at his own pace as he can be a bit overwhelmed by dogs that are too much straight away. He is kennelled with the beautiful Gummy Bear at the moment and he is amazing with her, plays and snuggles whenever she wants to.
He is fed separately as he does not like sharing his food bowl, but this is totally understandable considering his background.
He walks on a lead, goes out with volunteers and once he trusts you, the greeting you get every time he sees you is heart-melting. I wish I could bring him home, honestly, he is just exceptionally special.
His perfect home would be;

  • A lovely resident dog (or multiple)
  • No young children (teens upwards)
  • Very secure garden
  • Reasonably active home
  • Continued socialisation
  • People who will love him forever

08-08-22 UPDATE
Suggs has grown up in kennels and it has broken my heart to watch. He is such a sweet boy, kennelled with his best friend Gummy Bear and they play together lovely, they go out with volunteers and he loves a belly rub once he has figured out that you won't hurt him. He is such a little diamond who deserves the very best. Suggs needs a home where he has atleast one resident dog that can show him about home life and help him gain confidence. He seems to prefer the company of smaller dogs, but does get on with bigger ones as long as they respect his space until he wants to say hello.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
