If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

06-05-2022 Roma is a nervous little girl who has come to us from a breeder.  She does come forward for a sniff when she is with her kennel friends but is worried when away from them so will need a home where there is at least one other dog.  She doesn't walk on a and will need to learn about house training but she will watch the other dog(s) in her new home and then start to copy them whi.  A home where there is at least one other dog will help her confidence and she will watch and copy what the do which will help her learn the home life skills she needs.  Roma is looking for a home with someone who understands her grooming needs and will brush her daily as well as schedule regular grooming visits. With kind, patience and loving adopters is shouldn't take Roma too long to settle into her new life.

11-05-22 UPDATE
Roma has been seen by our vet and she does have a grade 1-2 heart murmur, this isn't something that she needs medication for at the moment but it is something that will need to be monitored in the future.

05-06-22 UPDATE
Roma has been in foster for a week and I cant believe that this is the same dog.  She does stay back from you in the garden but not really in fear more when she's ready she will come to you.  I was so shocked when not only did she choose to be fussed but really loved it and pushed forwards for more.  She's let me pick her up without struggling,  sleeps quiet all night and has been clean in doors and waits till shes let out to toilet. As time passes and she gets braver, Roma's going to be super charged company - her whizzing around the garden is joyful.

22-06-22 UPDATE
This girl is a dream, she's interested in everything that’s happening and follows me and if you're outside she will be there rolling around, running and play bowing inviting you to play with her. Roma is having short walks when there is few people or cars, as you have to remember shes not seen the big world before....when we see anything shes not sure of I stop, she sits and I reassure her while it passes. If you apply for Roma be prepared to give lots of cuddles and ruffles in her teddy bear fur. She is living among many asst size dogs and has become as one of the pack. And lastly when the sun shines on her tail it looks like a flame while the rest of her is pale ginger biscuit.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
