If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

16-05-22 Sandy has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She's a happy and waggy girl when around her kennel friends but does get a little more shy on her own and is quite worried about being picked up and handled at the moment. Sandy will need another kind and confident dog in her new home to be her friend and to help her settle in to her new life. She has never lived in a home before and so will need to learn all about home life and things like house training and how to walk on a lead. She is a very sweet and calm girl with a wonderful nature and with time and love it shouldn't take her too long to start to come out of her shell.

12-06-22 UPDATE

Sandy has settled into home life very well. She was nervous when she first arrived here but seems to know we only want to love her. She's now easy to handle and will let us pick her up for a little cuddle. She seems to enjoy being groomed. Sandy sleeps in the kitchen with our three dog's quietly all night.
It has been discovered that Sandy has a problem with her lower jaw, called madibular symphysis, which means that her lower jaw is not as stable as it should be. It could be that she has always had this and may have been born with this problem but doesn't seem to bother her and she can eat and drink without any problems but she does need a diet of soft foods.
Sandy is not walking on a lead yet, but we don't think it will take her long. We only had a few accidents regarding house training when she first arrived. She is the perfect house guests.
This little girl only needs a few things in life. She will need a friendly kind dog to snuggle up to, a comfortable bed, and LOTS of love. If this is you please fill in the application form.

18-06-22 UPDATE
Sandy is loving home life. She is a sweet happy content little dog. She has a problem with her lower jaw but this is not problem to her. She eats, drinks, and plays with her toys like all other dogs. She seems to be unaware that there's a problem. She doesn't need special food but if she's fed on dryed food this will need to be soaked. You can not tell by looking at her jaw that there's a problem. She loves to play with our dogs and her toys. It has been a pleasure to see her come out of her shell so quickly. She is now walking on a lead. This is still a work in progress, but she is improving every day. She meets all dog's large and small with a waggly tail. Sandy is a brave happy little dog who now needs to find her forever home with someone who will love her forever. She has been a pleasure to look after and has made us smile every day. She's a little diamond.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
