If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

23-08-22 Honey ( was Parsley)  has been returned to us because after her adoption it became apparent that she was having seizures. She has started on medication for this but as she was in a home with a group of dogs, her adopters were worried about coping with this and made the very difficult decision to return her to Many Tears. Whilst in the home we aretold she was nearly house trained and got on beautifully with other dogs. Now Honey has gone to a foster home where she can be watched closely and will update further on this in time. She is a sweetheart but please do your research on epileptic dogs as she will need her medication on time daily and this wont be able to be covered  by insurance. She is a sweetheart who loves a cuddle and she has so much love to give.

23-08-22 UPDATE
I'm a sleepy Honey at the moment. I've been playing with my furbrothers and sisters after our walk around the park and then had my dinner and now. . .Zzzz!
I walk well and love meeting my friends and their humans.
I'm learning to play with toys as l was quite shy, a little nervous and didn't know how to play with them but l'm improving everyday.. My foster mum tells me so!
She says l'm a wonderful cockapoo, more poodle than cocker with the sweetest face.
She loves cuddling and fussing me. I love it too! She also tells me how proud she is of me.
Do you want to be proud of me too?

06-09-22 UPDATE
My name is Honey, I'm a cockapoo and as you can see l'm quite laid back!! My foster mum is really happy and proud of me, for the progress l've made in the short time l have lived with her and my other foster brothers and sisters.  I do have epilepsy but l'm not fitting as the medication is working and fostermum has helped me to learn to cope with situations and experiences and to accept things and enjoy life. No stress! She tells me l make her laugh and smile lots! She's always telling me how proud of and happy she is with me. She loves giving me cuddles and l love having them! I have recently learnt to do Zoomies! I do them when l greet foster mum in the morning! I'm going to have another rest now as we have been for a lovely long walk together. I love meeting people and dogs when we go out for walks together. I also love rides in the car. Foster mum tells me l'm loveable! I agree!! With love from Honey!

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
