07-07-22 Lollipop has come to us from a breeder to find her perfect forever home. She is an extremely special girl who is looking for a home just as special as she is. When she arrived with us, we thought she was completely blind but we do think she may be able to see some shapes and shadows. Lollipop also has dry eye and so will need eye drops for the rest of her life, which won’t be covered by insurance. She arrived to us with ear infections, sore skin and very patchy fur, which are all undergoing treatment at the moment.
Despite all this, Lollipop is the most loving and trusting girl you will ever meet. All she wants is to be with you and is just so happy to be fussed and cuddled.  Lollipop likes to be with her special people all the time and will follow you around the house like a little shadow.  Wherever you go, there will be a little Lollipop right behind you! Lollipop would prefer a calm and quiet, adult only home. She adores being held in your arms and has the waggiest tail as you gently talk to her.
Being practically blind, Lollipop will need a home that’s easy to navigate with no steep steps or hazards. She maps out her surroundings really well and after around 24 hours in her foster home you wouldn’t even have realised she was visually impaired. She will also need another kind dog in her home who will help her navigate her surroundings and be her guide. She does love canine company and would really love the dog in her forever home to snuggle up with her.
Lollipop's perfect home would be with someone who was home most of the time and had lots and lots of time to spend with her. Her perfect day would be spent sitting on your lap on the sofa, eating good food and then sleeping curled up against you in your bed at night. That’s all that she asks for really and all it takes to make her one very happy Lollipop.. comfort and company!
Lollipop is a beginner to walking on a harness and lead and has so far only walked in very quiet, secure areas. I think Lollipop will quite enjoy going for walks when she has mastered it, but she will only require short little potters.
Lollipop has been in foster for two weeks now and she is still doing the majority of her toileting inside the house, so her adopters will need to be very understanding of this and aware that it might take her quite a while to become house trained.
Lollipop is a dog in a million and whoever adopts her is going to be the luckiest person on the planet.

19-07-22 UPDATE

My lovely little Lollipop is re-available through no fault of her own.
She is looking for a very special home as she has extremely limited vision and dry eye and will need ongoing eye drops for the rest of her life. She will need another kind dog to be her friend and cuddle up to and an adopter who is around most of the time and who will let her sleep in their bed.
Lollipop just loves EVERYTHING! She is the happiest little dog you will ever meet. She went back to Many Tears on Friday for her second vaccination and her tail wagged from the moment she got there until we left again! She greeted absolutely everyone with a tail wag and even wagged her way through her vaccination!!!
Lollipop is very new to toilet training. After almost a month in foster she is still having multiple accidents inside daily. In the past week she has done a lot more wee wees outside, but she has only ever done one number two outside. If you are considering adopting Lollipop you must understand that it might take her a long time to get to grips with house training and she might not ever master it completely. That said, in the house she has picked a few areas to have accidents and these are hard/tiled floors. She is clean overnight in bed and is clean on the sofa etc so it is completely managable as long as your mop is your bestie!
Lollipop is a dog in a million. She is one of the most special dogs I have ever met in my entire life and deserves to find the most wonderful 5* home with someone who will adore her and pamper her like the princess she is.
Please read her write up and if you think you can offer her a wonderful happily ever after then pop in an application.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
