If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

31-07-2022 Gitty is a dear little soul who has come to us from a breeder.  She is nervous when you first approach her but settles happily once she is in your arms. Gitty will need a home where there is at least one other dog to be her friend and who will allow her to cuddle up with them for comfort and support if she wants to.  She will watch what they do and then start to copy them which will help her with house training and lead walking.  We don't think it will take Gitty too long to settle into home life and with time and will love and patience she will blossom into a wonderful friend and companion.

07-08-22 UPDATE

Gitty is a sweet soul and is showing her personality more each day. She gets along well with her kennel friends and you can usually see her having a snuggle with one in the beds during the day. Gitty will give you a sniff and a lick in the kennel coming up to you with her friends around her. In there sandschool Gitty's personality shows, she's interested in everything around her and will follow people on the other side of the fence the length of the yard, to stay out longer Gitty will see you getting her friends in and continue her play and sniffs and then as you're walking towards her she'll lie down with her belly on show to have some nice belly rubs and a carry to the gate before she potters back to her kennel. Gitty would like a home with resident dogs that'll show Gitty what living in a home looks like and support her when her humans are showing her what the world has to offer.

08-08-22 UPDATE

Gitty is a little shy but wonderfully curious about new things like the new toys I popped out in the play yard; bless her! She will come up near you and will roll on her back for belly rubs and allow you to pick her up too. She's still working us humans out and is currently more confident playing with her Kennel friends. But she's a lovely little girl and I'm sure will grow in confidence with time and patience and another lovely Doggie friend to show her the way!

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
