If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

21-09-22 Weston is an absolutely beautiful girl who has come to us from a breeder. She is quite nervous around us humans but she is trying ever so hard to be brave. She will approach us and give us lots of little kisses whilst wagging her tail at full speed, but she will run away or roll over onto her back when we go to approach her. She has a very submissive nature around us but this will improve in time once she learns to trust. She’s not walking on a lead yet but we will get started on her harness training, and we don’t think it will take her too long to pick it up. She is very playful with her kennel friends and she really adores them, so we would like to home her with at least one kind and confident resident dog who will be accepting of play time with her. She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and patient as she learns all about home life and things like house training. Children would be too overwhelming for her at the moment, but sensible teenagers would be ok.
Westons back right foot is deformed. She is missing two toes and one other toe is deformed. When she arrived with us there was a wound underneath the deformed toe which our vet has been treating. If this wound doesn't start to heal then we may need to consider amputating this toe too. Weston doesn't let her foot issue bother her and gets around really well.
Weston has a PETS travel passport document.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
