If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

30-09-22 Bambi is a sweet 3 month old cavapoo who is unsold from his breeder as she has a Grade 5 heart murmur. This is a high grade murmur in such a young pup and can be indicative of an underlying heart problem that he will need to see a specialist cardiologist vet for to assess him further and see if anything can be done for him. It is possible he could need surgery to enable him to have a full, happy life in time and he will see the specialist at Langford vets soon.
Bambi is a sweet confident lad who loves playing and is complete unaware that he has a grade 5 heart murmur. Bambi is confident to live as an only dog in the right circumstances, due to his health condition we feel it would be best for him to live in an adult only home.
We will arrange a referral for this little pup and it is likely to be very costly. Heart surgery can run to thousands of pounds and we will fundraise like crazy for this little chap to give him the gift of life if he needs it.
You will be asked to sign a contract confirming you will spay/neuter a puppy and we ask that a puppy attends puppy classes so they can socialise with other dogs and people.

16-11-22 UPDATE
Bambi has been to see the specialist and has been diagnoised with a heart condition called Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) which is one of the most common congenital heart defects in dogs.  He is scheduled to have an operation on Friday to mend his broken heart and we would be very grateful if anyone would like to help us cover the cost of this by making a donation on the PayPal link below.  Thank you.

05-12-22 UPDATE
Bambi's operation has been very successful and the cardiologist is very pleased with his recovery and he has not been affected by this experience. He has to be quiet at the moment but all he wants to do is play with his toys and the other puppy in his foster home who is also waiting to have a heart operation.. Bambi is a very happy puppy, who loves humans and other dogs and is an absolute delight. He will have his final check up at the end of the month before he is ready to look for his forever home.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
