28-09-22 Kabaret is a lovely bit very nervous boy who has come from his breeder to find a loving home. To make friends with Kabaret is pretty easy, you just need to take your time and not rush him. In time, he allows us to handle him and we can see what a wonderful little dog he is. Kabaret is confused and overhwelmed at the moment and doesnt know what to expect from us or what we expect from him. He is most confident around his friends in his kennel and will need a kind resident dog to boost his confidence and introduce him to home life in a way we humans cant explain. He would need the other dog in his home to be female and cannot live with male dogs. He will need to learn all about home skills such as house training, walking on a lead, finding the most comfy bed and enjoying a gentle fuss. This fellow will need someone special who is experienced with scared dogs and has patience in bucket loads to help him settle and make progress from scared boy to a happy one. Kabaret doesnt yet know how lovely his life can be so needs time to relax and take it all in. In the right calm home,he will begin to shine.  Kabaret has a PETS travel passport document.

20-10-22 UPDATE
Kabaret is such a sweet little dude, he's come on so much since arriving and now has a very waggy tail and will come up for fusses. He is still learning to walk on a harness but this won't take him long.
Kabaret would like a lovely female resident dog in his new home that likes to snuggle but also loves a good play, he cannot live with male dogs. He is happy to share beds with them and doesn't mind being fed in the same space as them either, but we have discovered that he does guard toys from other dogs. For this reaosn Kabaret will be looking for an adult only home with adopters who have experience with dogs with guarding issues. His adopters will need to make sure that any play time with toys is supervised and that toys are not left unattended.
I hope he doesn't have to wait much longer.

11-11-22 UPDATE

Kabaret has settled well here in foster and become much more confident.  He is a happy, friendly boy who loves the company of my female spaniel, always wants to be the centre of attention and loves a cuddle. He is clean in the house, sleeps all night in his bed, walks well on the lead/ harness, is fine with all the dogs he meets and now let’s people stroke him.He travels well in the car and is fine around food and his toys.  Kabaret is a really lovely boy and will make a wonderful companion.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
