If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.
04-04-2023 Tilly (was Corry) is a special sweet little girl who has been through a lot. Tilly has sadly been returned to us, she was settled and getting along well with the 2 resident dogs however recently Tilly snapped at the female resident dog and for this reason we feel that Tilly can only be homed with a larger male dog she is only little weighing just over 3kg. Tilly will need an adult only home as we feel children would overwhelm her. She is still learning that the world is a nice place and can be a little nervous at times but with kind and understanding adopters Tilly should continue to grow in confidence and bond with people. Tilly walks on a harness but is still a little nervous of the big wide world when out, so adopters need to go slow and at her pace in quiet areas. Please don't keep this girl waiting long, she can't wait to be back in her warm bed with lots of cuddles in a loving home.
10-04-23 UPDATE
Tilly has had a rough time of it in her life, and sadly she has had to come back from her new home as she had an issue with the resident dog. We feel she could be better suited with a large male dog.
She walks with a harness but is quite nervous around new people, so she will need someone who has the time and patience to work with her.
Tilly is a lovely little girl she just needs the opportunity to settle into home life and learn to trust people.
21-04-23 UPDATE Tilly is a very nervous girl but a sweetheart once she knows you. She needs a home with someone that’s willing to give her a lot of patience and love to earn her trust, and it will take some time. She’s an absolutely gorgeous girl who deserves a loving home where she can finally be happy. She doesn’t enjoy being handled or smoothed that much and usually freezes up or tries to get away out of fear.
05-05-23 UPDATE
This sweet little lady has started to come out of her shell since arriving in her foster home. Tilly is still scared but is learning to accept kindness. She definitely likes the company of dogs and greets my little dogs with a waggy tail. She is much braver when the other dogs are around. She loves her food and the garden but still does not like her harness so we are working on this. I am being given gentle kisses which is a good start. This girl deserves a forever home with doggy company and lots of patience and love.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
