19-10-2022 Noodles is a scared little boy who has come to us from a breeder. If you go slowly and take your time he is easy to handle and with love, time and patience he will come round. Noodles has a grade 4 heart murmur which is not causing him any issues at the moment but is something that will need to be monitored by his new vet. If he needs treatment for his heart in the future this will not be covered on insurance so please take this potential cost into account before applying. Poor Noodles has had to have all his remaining teeth removed so will need a soft diet. Noodles will need a calm and quiet adult only home where there is at least one kind resident dog to be his friend. He has seen the inside of a home before and so this will be overwhelming at first and he will need to learn new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. These are things that may take him a little time to get the hang of as the garden may be as scary for him and the inside of the home at first. Noodles needs adopters who understand and have the time, love and patience to help him discover the joys that his new life will bring. Lead walking will need to start in the garden to make sure he is comfortable wearing a harness and lead before venturing out in the world. Noodles needs that special person who can see the potential he has to become a wonderful friend.
10-12-22 UPDATE
Noodles is a sweet little man who is a bit unsure of people but will accept fuss when approached. He finds his confidence from his kennel pals and for this reason he will likely need a resident dog in his new home to show him the ropes! Noodles is a happy little guy and enjoys playing with toys in the yard but doesn’t quite understand how to play with people yet. He can also be a bit growly if one of the other dogs pinches his spot in the beds but he doesn’t bed guard at all, in his new home he’d definitely prefer to have his own bed to snuggle in to avoid this behaviour. It’s unlikely Noodles can be homed with children but could probably go to a home with dog savvy teens!
Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
