If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

02-11-2022 Primrose is a pretty little pom who has come to us from a breeder in search of a forever home.  She is a little sweetie but a bit nervous as the moment as she is getting used to her new surroundings.  We are looking for an adult only, home where there is at least one other dog who is very kind and happy to welcome Primrose into their home to help her confidence with people.    She will watch them and start to copy what they do and which will help her learn new skills like house training and lead walking. She is a little treasure just waiting to be found. Primrose has a Grade 2 heart murmur. She doesn't require any medication for this but it is something her adopters and their vet will need to monitor.

09-12-22 UPDATE
Primrose has made a lot of progress since she first arrived and is now a happy little madam who will approach me with a waggy tail to give me little kisses. She has come out of her shell a lot in general, but especially with other dogs. She’s turned into a bit of a bossy boots with smaller dogs and has shown some dominance towards them, so she is now kennelled with dogs larger than her only (she is 7.5kg). Because of this, we would also like to home her with larger dogs now to avoid any mischief from her. She’s currently kennelled with Cocker Spaniels and a Cockerpoo who she gets on with just fine, so anything around this size would be fine for her.
Bossiness aside, Primrose is a really lovely girl who is a pleasure to be around. It’s been wonderful to watch her confidence grow and see her true character start to form. She’s a cheeky girl who definitely has a playful side to her despite her age, but you’ll also find her snuggled up in bed a lot of the time too. In the right home, I think she’ll become somebody’s little sidekick and best friend. It will take her a little while to settle I’d imagine, but she will definitely get there. I just hope she doesn’t have to wait too long to find that special home!

10-01-23 UPDATE
My beautiful Primrose is still looking for her forever home and quite frankly, I can’t believe it. She is such a lovely girl who really is no bother to look after, she puts a smile on my face every day, and she is just a joy to be around. She has such an infectious energy and I can tell she is going to blossom into the most wonderful companion in the right home. She is still a little timid, especially if you move too quickly around her or make any loud noises, but that is totally normal with these ex breeding angels. It will take a little while for her to come fully out of her shell (just like I mentioned in my last update), but look out when she does! She already has a cheeky side to her .. I mean just look at this picture of her .. so I can’t wait to see what she’s like when she’s completely settled in her new home.
Primrose is very motivated by food, silly squeaky voices, and wiggly fingers. I may look like a plonker when I’m on the floor in her kennel, but it’s made a huge difference for her so who cares!? I would do anything for these little dogs, and I would hope Prim’s new owners would do the same for her to make her feel welcome.
I really hope this little lady doesn’t have to wait much longer to find her happy ever after. I can’t tell you how much she deserves to have her very own sofa or bed for the first time in her life. 8 years of having nothing for herself is really just not fair … please, please consider her.

17-03-23 UPDATE

Pretty little Primrose is still waiting here, I really don't know why. She's nervous, but loves to play with toys and does come up for a sniff with people she's used to. She really needs to break free from kennels and go to her forever family soon. She is kennelled with 3 other dogs, male and female and they are a similar size to her. She shares a bed with them and is just a joy to look after. I really hope she doesn't have to wait much longer.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
