If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

16-11-22 Korie is a lovely boy who is shy but so sweet. He has a cherry eye that our vet will take a look at  and as with many bulldogs he has an undershot jaw. He is unsure of his new surroundings but the more time you spend getting to know him the more he gives you his trust and in the right home he is going to be amazing. He will need adopters experienced with his breed who are happy to give him the time and commitment he deserves. He will need a kind resident dog to teach him about house training lead walking and other home skills he has never needed to know. This boy will thrive in a calm home with a lovely dog to guide him and help him find his personality. He's a cracker.

27-11-22 UPDATE
This little man has come on in leaps and bounds since he arrived and is no longer the shy boy he once was. He absolutely adores a fuss (especially a good old head rub) and will nudge your hand every time you stop. His confidence has grown so much, I think he could now be homed as an only dog in the right circumstances. His new owners would need to be home most of the time with him, and have the time and the patience to settle him and get him used to home living. He’s never been in a home before, so it will be like starting from scratch with him. He can still be homed with other dogs of course, but please note he can be a little bit humpy at first! He has no malice in him whatsoever though, he just gets a bit excited. Korie can also be homed with older children now too, as long as they are very savvy and won’t mind him jumping up on them for a fuss. He really is a lovely boy and I don’t think he could hurt a fly, bless him. I hope he doesn’t have to wait long to find his happy ever after.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
