29-12-22 Blue is handsome Weimaraner who came to us from his breeder he has been returned to us after a short adoption. Blue's adopters adored him but Blue and their dog are both wanted to be top dog and had to be kept separated. Blue is happier with female dogs but we think he would prefer to be the only dog in his new home so that is what we are looking for. His adopters told us Blue has a wonderful temperament with them and quickly became attached to them but he does like to have them in his sight at all time. So we are looking for an experienced adult only home for Blue where someone is around most of the time and where he get plenty of exercise and stimulation. He is nearly house trained but now he is back in kennels this may need a bit more help. Blue has learnt basic commands and takes treats gently from you. He travels well in the back of the car. Blue can be uncertain about new people so his adopter need to work with him on this. Once he gets to know you he is happy to come and say hello and have a gentle fuss. As a Weimie he will need an active home where he can get the physical and mental stimulation he needs. We are sure that when Blue settles he will be a wonderful companion if you have the time, space and patience for him. He will need a cat free home.

22-02-23 UPDATE

Gorgeous gorgeous Blue. He has the heart of ALL of the staff here at Many Tears. We can't fault him when he's here, he's an angel. But we have been told that in a home he is warey of new people entering, and doesn't want to share his space with another dog.

So we are looking for a home where Blue is an only dog, with experienced adopters.

Blue's reaction when he sees someone he loves is unreal, his whole body wags for a cuddle. He loves his long walks, dinner times, and playing in the yard.

He needs an adopter who absolutely will not give up on him, no matter what he throws at them. If you think you could devote yourself like this, then please do consider Blue.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. ADOPTION DETAILS
If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
