If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

14-12-22 Scallon is a rather stunning GSD with a medium coat. She has a passport that states she is 11yrs but we do feel she is younger than this and we would estimate her at 7yrs. She has come from her breeder to find a loving home. Scallion needs a cat free home and would be happy to be share her new home with a male dog of a similar size.  However, in the right circumstances we may consider homing her as an only dog.  Scallon already knows how to walk on a lead might may need to learn about house training but his shouldn't take her long to pick up if she needs to.   She is is a sweetheart who has a kind nature, a smart GSD brain and is typically a loyal, clever girl who needs an active home with adopters who have experience of this magnificent breed. She has a passport and would need a cat free home.

21-01-23 UPDATE
Sweet, sweet Scallon how are you still here with us at the rescue?!
I cannot believe nobody has adopted this angel yet!
Scallon is such a lovely and gentle lady who would love a chilled and calm household.
She adores walks, and walks so well on the lead!
Although she is a big girl, she’s such an easy, low maintenance dog so we would love her to be homed with another dog of a similar size that matches her energy, however we would consider rehoming her as an only dog in the right household.
Scallon is kennel clean so I believe that she would adjust to being house clean very quickly! She isn’t a fan of cats however, so she would need to go to a cat-free home.
I really hope this diamond won’t have to wait much longer for her perfect forever home, she truly deserves the best life ever!!

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
