DANCER WOULD LOVE A HOME WITH DINKIE AND THERE DOESN'T NEED TO BE A RESIDENT DOG IF THIS HAPPENS

16-12-22 Dancer is a sweet but shy girl who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She is a beautiful standard poodle cross (24kg) who will need regular trips to the groomer to keep her coat in a comfortable condition. She is intially nervous around people but does know how to walk on a lead. Dance loves her kennel friend Dinky and relies on her kennel friends for reassurance and will even play with them when she feels safe. Dancer has started to approach us with a waggy tail now when we enter her kennel and is slowly coming out of her shell. She would love a home with Dinky and if not homed together Dancer will need at least one kind resident dog that will be happy to be her best friend and show her all about home life. She needs to learn about house training, walking on a lead and get used to the sights and sounds of home. She will need time, patience and a quiet, calm, adult only home to help her settle into a new, better way of life where she can be someones special girl. She has a passport. Dancer is is waiting patiently for her forever home and family.

28-02-23 UPDATE

After being with us for a month and a half, Dancer has started to come out of her shell. She’s a quiet girl who with the help of her kennel friends is learning to have confidence. At first she’s still a little shy and nervous around new people but she’ll soon start to warm up to you. She’s a very playful girl who loves to play with her toys and does great on walks. In a calm home with a resident dog she would definitely flourish and be a perfect pet. As she’s never been a pet before she still will need some house training but i don’t think that will be an issue.

Dinky and Dancer, what a duo!!! This pair absolutely love each other. They play constantly, and snuggle together in bed, looking for reassurance in each other when they aren't sure.
Dancer is definitely more confident than Dinky but Dinky is not far behind, as Dinky copies what Dancer does!
We would absolutely love to see these 2 go home together! If homed together they could go with a resident dog or without. If homed individually then they would definitely need resident dogs to help them along.

Dinkie and Dancer are just the funniest, most loveable pair you could meet. They walk on leads, share everything with one another and love to have zoomies in the sandschool. I really hope we can home them together, but if they did go separately, they would need at least one very kind and playful dog in their new home. Just look at them gooo!

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
