08-02-2023 Presley Jr is a small boy with a big heart and is quietly affectionate. If you sit on the floor of his kennel he will climb on your lap for a cuddle. He has come to us from a breeder and is not in the best condition but now he is here we will start to work on making him feel a lot better. Poor Presley has old ulcer scaring in his eyes (but he can see), he has sore skin (which we are treating) and his coat is in need of a bath and groom. He is also missing teeth and has an overshot jaw. None of these things should stop him finding the perfect home and we are looking for a calm and quiet adult only home where there is at least one kind resident dog to be his friend and guide him about how to live in a home with humans who will love him. Presley Jr has never even seen the inside of a home before so will need to learn new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. These are things that may take him a little time to get the hang of so Presley Jr needs adopters who understand and have the time, love and patience to help him learn. Lead walking will need to start in the garden to make sure he is comfortable wearing a harness and lead before venturing out in the world. Presly Jr really needs that extra special person who can see the potential he has to become a wonderful friend. He has a passport.

16-01-23 UPDATE

Presley JR is an amazing little boy, he is so loveable and a very happy boy, he loves hugs and kisses. Presley loves playing with toys and exploring the outside world . He dreams he will find his forever home that will show him the world. Presley walk’s nice on the harness and enjoys getting out. Presley would love a brother or sister to cuddle up too, could go as only dog if your home most the day but I feel he will miss the company of another dog as here in foster in jumps into bed with my 9 dogs . He’s ok with cats , he loves his food . His house training is getting there only couple of accidents . He is just a sweet , happy little boy .

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

ADOPTION DETAILS
If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
