17-02-23 Little Layland is as cute as a button and has come to us to find a loving home after he was not sold by his breeder. He hasnt seen anything of the world before and is feeling rather overwhelmed and cannot find the courage to come out from hiding behind his bed just yet. He is very young and needs some kindness and tender loving care to help him begin to relax and realise that life is meant to be fun, not scary for a little pup like him. We think he will need a kind dog in his new home to nudge him forwards gently and when he finds his feet Layland will probably become the cheeky, playful bundle of mischief he should be so his new canine pal will need to be happy with a pup around. He has so much to learn but time, patience, heaps of socialisation and ongoing training he is going to transform and love his new world.
You will be asked to sign a contract confirming you will spay/neuter a puppy and we ask that a puppy attends puppy classes so they can socialise with other dogs and people.
ADOPTION DETAILS
If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
