GINNY NEEDS A HOME WITH HER BEST FRIEND HETTY.
18-03-2023 Ginny is a sweet affectionate little girl who who has come to us with her friend Hetty after their mum sadly passed away. Ginny loves a cuddle, is house trained and already walks on a lead. Ginny is looking for an quiet adult only home where she can enjoy a peaceful life. Ginny is an absolute delight to look after and she deserves to spend her days having a lovely fuss whilst snuggled up to her best friend Hetty. Ginny has a grade 5 heart murmur and is on medication for this which will most likely be for life, this will need to be closely monitored by adopters and adopters will need to be able to provide this medication for her to ensure she can live life to the best quality possible. Please give these sweet girls a chance to have the forever home they deserve.
22-03-23 UPDATE
Hello everybody, this is me, Ginny the Ruby Cavalier, here in foster in Helston Cornwall, with my best mate Hetty the Blenheim.
Last week Daddy took us to Many Tears Rescue and left us there.. we were all very sad. Daddy cried a lot and so did the staff at the rescue. He loved us very much but since Mummy went to Heaven last year, he’s struggled to cope with all her dogs and other animals. He decided the best thing to do for us was to give us the chance to find another loving home. The staff were very kind to us at the rescue but it was very busy and noisy.
So, after a long journey on Sunday we’ve joined the gang here. Foster Mum says we’ve settled in very quickly with the other dogs, all girls, and last night we chose to sleep in the living room with them. We know not to make a mess inside too!
Both of us arrived with sore patches but they’re healing with no new ones appearing. When FM or FD sit down, we are straight there for hugs which is helping us to relax, but there are a lot of dogs here and most of them want to be in the same place! The other Cavs are very gentle with us; I think they know we need a bit of extra care at the moment. FM says we give lots of kisses and are wonderful for hugs.
There are interesting things going on too… In the picture, I was just sitting in the window watching the birds and this big rabbit went past. The Westies explained that they are very cheeky and need watching! Outside are some big fields that we’re allowed to explore and sniff around. The two big dogs showed us what to do.
Everybody is being very kind and trying to help us; FM says we are very special and it’ll all be ok from now on. She says we are nothing like the sad little foster exbreeders she usually has because we love people and aren’t frightened of any noises in the home and we can walk on a lead and travel well in the car.
Only thing is, both me and Hetty have to have Vetmedin to make our hearts work properly, which wouldn't be covered by insurance. I’m 10 and Hetty is 8… FM says age is just a number! She’s had lots of Cavs here on heart meds and they’ve still enjoyed running about and playing.
So, if there’s anybody out there who needs special Cav hugs and kisses, will love us and care for us like our Mummy and Daddy did, is at home most of the time, has a garden and could take us on lovely walks especially if they have other Cavs, that would be wonderful. FM says she doesn’t ever want us to have to move home again because it makes us unhappy and we’re good little girls.
Thank you. Ginny xx
Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
