If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

08-07-23 Hazel is a stunning girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a very sweet girl but is understandbly quite worried at the moment. Once she gets to know you she is happy to approach you for a gentle fuss. Hazel would prefer to be homed as an only dog. She will be looking for a calm and quiet home where her adotpers are around most of the time and have lots of love and care to offer her as she adjusts to her new life. She has never lived in a home before and so this will be very new to her and her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she learns all about home life and picks up new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. With TLC she will start to grow in confidence and blossom into the best friend you could wish for, so please don't leave her waiting too long.

08-08-2023 UPDATE

Hazel is a fantastic girl and whilst timid at first she will quickly open up to you and approach for love and cuddles! She absolutely adores getting scratches and cuddles from all of us here! Hazel has made fantastic progress with her harness training and is getting better and better as the days progress. Hazel is looking for a home where she can be the only dog. She is such a kind and gentle soul and she deserves the chance of a happy life.

30-08-23 UPDATE
Hi, my name is Hazel although my kennel mum calls me Munchkin. It's ok living here, food is good, comfy bed, kennel is ok, but I'm not sure about the amount of exercise I get. Kennel mum walks us out to the playground, throws a ball and then expects me to fetch it, she keeps doing this so I just stand and look at her. Then, she says we'll have a go at agility and gets me to jump up on tyres and go up ramps, it's really a bit tiring especially when my comfy bed is waiting for me. To top it all, kennel mum said brightly that we're going for a walk up the road!  Oh no, I thought, more exercise! Don't tell kennel mum, but I actually really enjoyed our walk, trotting through the long grass, all those delicious smells, different scenery, it was great, and my comfy bed was still waiting for me when I got back.
I got to spend some time with a different dog this week, a boy Labrador, to see if I am ok with other dogs, and yes, I am but I would still prefer to live as an only dog as I wouldn't like to share my home with another dog. All in all I'm a great girl, I barely ever bark, I'm funny (so kennel mum keeps telling me), I love walks but could I just make it clear, I won't need lots of exercise, and I'm certainly not into this game of fetch business, but I would love a comfy bed, please. If you like what you've read, and why wouldn't you, pop an app on for me, Hazel x

12-10-23 UPDATE

What can I say about this sweet angel that already been said? It was my first time meeting her today and although she is nervous understandably around new people, as soon as she’s in the yard she’s like a different dog. She would let me give her fusses, she would run over to me when I called her, enjoying the attention and affection that people can give. She is so so sweet and I know she would fit right in quickly with the right home. A calm home environment would be better for her, preferably with at least one person who is home most of the time to spend time with her and give her lots of cuddles and take her on walks. Please be patient with her once she is in your home as she has never lived in a home before so she will need to be taught things such as where to go to the toilet and what’s OK and what isn’t for her to do etc. Please please consider giving her a chance, after a tough start in life all she wants is to find her forever home with people who will love her and take care of her, she will definitely love you back too.

01-11-23 UPDATE
Hazel is a such sweet little girl who is still nervous on first introductions.  She soon warms up to you and her goofy and playful side starts to come out. She loves her treats and toys!  She has come a long way since she first arrived, but she is looking for a home where she will be the only dog, and although she now walks well on lead, she would not be suited for a super active household.

05-11-2023 UPDATE

Hazel is such a sweet girl who enjoys her own space cuddling up in the back of her kennel. She enjoys going for a short, slow, quiet walk and would benefit from a home where she can go on quiet, gentle walks or if you had a nice quiet field near by you could take her out in she would love that. She loves a dental stick and will run up to you with excitement when you bring her one.

23-11-23 UPDATE
Hazel is the most amazing young lady. She is still a little timid but nowhere near where she has been. When you enter the kennel she runs up excited and greets you are the front She will need some patience and love to build her confidence fully But she’s showing us that it won’t take too much more now What an amazing girl with so much love to give Hazel is ideally in need of a home nice quiet home where she can be loved and live her absolute best life Is that you?

30-01-24 UPDATE

Hazel is such a wonderful girl and one of our longest staying residents . She is such a gentle and beautiful lady, I've been lucky to have worked with her and have gotten really close with her.
When she arrived she was completely shut down and didn't want to be near any humans. Fast forward to now - with patience and lots of love Hazel absolutely adores fuss and cuddles. She is definitely suited for a slow paced home as she loves her warm comfortable bed and sleep. But at the same time she does also love nice slow walks and her yard time, where she can play and have a nice run around. Hazel is confident enough to go as an only dog, but she would prefer the company of a larger male dog for her to seek comfort. Hazel has never lived in a home but keeps her kennel clean and will always try and toilet outside, so house training her shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Hazel truly deserves her chance at a life in a loving home, and to find her forever family, She is so precious and will make any home a better one.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
