If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

18-11-2023 Raya is a very sweet natured but shutdown girl who is not used to human company and just freezes when she is with us. She has come from a breeder to find her forever home. Raya is easy to handle and doesn't have a bad bone in her body but is just so worried and overwhelmed. Raya will need a calm adult only home with a confident resident dog where she can have lots of TLC and patience to help her build a relationship with her adopters. This will take time and she will need dedicated adopters who understand this and they will have the privledge of seeing Raya becoming the dog she should be. Raya gets on great with all dogs here and snuggles into them in the bed. Raya has never lived in a home before so will need kind understanding adopters that can help her learn new skills such as housetraining and walking on a lead/harness when she is ready. Raya is such a gentle soul who with time and lots of love will flourish in her new home. Raya has a pets travel document.

08-12-23 UPDATE
Raya has seen our vets and been neutered, she has also had a small mammary lump removed. She has sore feet due to matting and is now being treated for this.

02-01-24 UPDATE

Today was the first day I had the pleasure of meeting Raya. Raya is a very timid girl who was very concerned of my intentions when first entering her kennel. She was visibly scared of me, but allowed me to pick her up and take her for her first groom and how beautiful she’s looking now. Raya has a fantastic temperament as being as timid as she is she will let you touch her and work with her without any fuss being made.

22-01-24 UPDATE
Raya has been in foster 2 weeks now. Initially she was scared of everything, tv, washing machine , in fact everything, she hid away from me, trembling if I went near her. Over these 2 weeks, although still wary,  she has in her own time started to relax and now joins us in the living room and especially loves the sofa. Baby steps for Raya but think shes on the way to enjoying life. Raya has been clean in the house and sleeps all night in a crate. She will need to be homed with another dog/dogs who will support her in her onward journey.

05-02-24 UPDATE
Raya is progressing well in foster. She is timid but hasn't got a bad bone in her body. She is 99% toilet trained, walks on a lead/harness, sleeps all night in a crate and is fine to be left for a few hours. A beautiful quiet inoffensive soul. Raya will need a calm household with another dog for support.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
