EROL HAS FORMED A CLOSE BOND WITH HIS FOSTER FRIEND GLORY AND WE WOULD CONSIDER HOMING THEM TOGETHER EITHER WITH OR WITHOUT ANOTHER DOG IN THE HOME

18-11-2023 Erol is a darling but very scared little boy who has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. He has needed a few teeth to be removed and has started on medication for an ear infection.
Erol is quite unsure of us and our intentions and will need lots of time and TLC in a home. Once he is in our arms he remains quite tense but he does accept a fuss. In a calm loving home Erol will come out of his shell as his confidence and trust in his family grows.
Erol gets on well with all other dogs here and he will need a home with a kind resident dog that he can copy around the house and snuggle up to. Erol has never lived in a home before so will need understanding adopters that can help him learn new skills such as housetraining and learning to walk on a lead/harness when he is ready.
Erol will need an adult only home as he would find children too overwhelming at the moment. He has passed a cat test so can live with cats. Erol can't wait to find out how loved he is and what being a cherished member of the family feels like.  He has swollen ear canals at the moment and is recieving some treatment for this. He has also had 3 teeth extracted. Erol has a pets travel document.

29-12-23 UPDATE

Erol is an absolute darling, he's such a gentle, special boy. He has been clean in the house from day one, settles well at night and loves snuggling and snoozing on the sofa. He is still very wary but is at last learning to trust me and come out of his shell. It's so lovely to see him wag his tail and show his playful side. He gets on well with all other dogs and will need at least one other resident friendly, canine companion to help his confidence grow. Erol walks nicely on the lead, but at the moment, requires quiet strolls away from traffic and too many people. When he is ready, he is really going to enjoy the freedom of runs off lead, initially in safe enclosed spaces. This gorgeous boy is so deserving of a quiet, loving home where he can relax and be cherished. Whoever adopts Erol is going to be very lucky indeed.

01-02-24 UPDATE

Erol is a calm, loving and gentle boy who gets on well with all dogs. He has formed a new bond with Glory, and they could be rehomed together. He walks beautifully on lead, travels well in the car and settles quietly at night. He loves a sofa to snooze on and someone to make a fuss of him, and give him the love he has missed out on. He is an absolute sweetheart!

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
