18-11-23 Chain is a beautiful girl who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She is shy when she first meets you but is much more relaxed in her kennel and open to a gentle fuss when she is around her kennel friends to lend her some courage. She is looking for a home where there is at least one kind and calm resident dog to be her friend, as whilst she relies on other dogs for comfort, she finds playful dogs a bit much to cope with. Once she knows you she will take a treat gently from you and it is clear she is doing her very best to be brave. She will need to learn all about home skills such as house training and how to walk on a lead, as well as get used to the usual sights and sounds of a home. She will need regular trips to the groomers to ensure her coat is comfortable and free from knots and tangles. With some love, patience and time she will settle and begin to love her new way of life. She has a PETS passport travel document. Chain arrived with sore ears which she has recieved treatment for.

23-11-23 UPDATE
Chain has been to our vets and been spayed, she had severe dental disease and has had to have the majority of her teeth removed but she will now be more comfortable and is enjoying her special soft food. She has had some mammary lumps removed and will be going back to our vet for cherry eye repair in a few weeks.

29-11-23 UPDATE
Chain is such a lovely little lady. She loves a gentle fuss and will come up to you to get it! She is a little shy, but doesn’t take long for her to warm up to you. She loves to cuddle up with her kennel mates, and will make the best couch companion! A quiet home with a calm resident dog, and no children is what this sweet girl needs. Dont make her wait too long to join you on the couch!

21-12-23 UPDATE
Chain has been moved to my section this week and what a delightful girl she is.
To be completely honest, I’m really surprised she hasn’t been snapped up. She’s so sweet and pure, and has so much love to give .. why is she still here!?
She will still need a resident dog in her new home, but I really don’t think it will take her long to settle at all. I think watching the resident dog will help her massively in learning how to live in a home, and when it comes to things such as house training and lead walking.
She really is a beautiful girl inside and out, and I do believe she’ll become somebody’s very own best friend in the right home. So please don’t keep her waiting much longer!

06-01-24 UPDATE
Chain has seen our vets to have a cherry eye repair and is being monitored closely for the next 5 days by the vets, Chain is recovering well.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
