If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

18-11-2023 Gamble  is a shy but ever so cute little boy who has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. Gamble  is nervous and not yet able to approach is for a gentle fuss. He gets on well with all other dogs here and he will need a home with a kind resident dog that he can copy around the house and snuggle up to. He has never lived in a home before so will need understanding adopters that can help him learn new skills such as housetraining and learning to walk on a harness/lead when he is ready. Any children in the home will need to be older and understand his need for time and space. He will need regular trips to the groomers to ensure his coat is comfortable and manageable. He is an absolute gem who will thrive in a loving home. He has an ear infection which we are treating. Gamble has a PETS passport travel document.

20-12-23 UPDATE
Gamble has been to the vets to be neutered and is receiving ear treatment for inflammed ears.

05-01-24 UPDATE

Gamble would like to reintroduce himself following his last update, he’s got a new trim and has come on great! He is not yet walking on the lead, but is in early stages of harness training and will allow you to approach him slowly and even offer a gentle fuss. Gamble is playful with his kennel mates and loves all other dogs and gets a lot of socialisation with many different breeds. He loves his toys and shares his space and food great. We definitely think that Gamble will still need another resident dog to show him the ropes of home life, and a home who has rescue experience. Gamble has been quite the nut to crack to gain his trust, but he has come on amazing and has the right foundations to be a perfect little dog in the right home. Kennel life is not the right place for this wonderful little man, and whereas we are so happy with how he’s come on in the last month, we really think he will blossom hugely in a home.

06-02-24 UPDATE

Gamble has come on in leaps and bounds since he came into foster. He loves his new doggy friends and is always 'in the thick of it'! As a young dog he's always exploring and learns very quickly. Gamble has had his first full walk (1.7miles!) on a harness and long lead and loved every second of it. He really is a confident boy. Gamble is a total delight and the family that adopt him will be taking on a superstar. There will need to be at least one younger kind resident dog to show Gamble the way ahead. Gamble can live with cats, but will chase them as part of his game, and he can live with a family who have older children.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
