If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

20-11-23 Remmy has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a very scared girl who is feeling very overwhelmed to find herself here and if pushed out of her comfort zone she will start to panic and may choose to make the wrong decisions. Once she gets to know you, she does start to relax and will accept a gentle stroke. She will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home where there are no visiting children and with adopters who have experience of scared ex-breeding dogs. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and take her under their wing. She is very worried about human interaction at the moment and will need adopters who will take things slowly at her pace as she learns to trust and realises that human hands can be kind. She is a sad little girl who just needs lots of love and kindness as she settles in to her new life. She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She doesn't yet walk on a lead and will need to get used to wearing a harness and lead around the home and garden until she has enough confidence to venture outside. Could you be the special person to offer her her happily ever after? She has a PET travel document.

27-12-23 UPDATE
After meeting Remmy for the first time, she was very wary of me and ran away to the safety of the pack. After a short time and after I sat with a few of her kennel friends, she started to come closer and eventually came to sniff my hand although, didn’t allow me to touch her. As she is a nervous girl but is showing signs she wants attention she will need a quiet home with at least one other dog to help her settle.

01-02-24 UPDATE
Remmy is a sweet lady who is still weary of humans but is a gentle soul that’s just a bit lost at the moment. She allowed me to approach her in the back of the kennel, and gave my hand a sniff, she was very interested while I was petting the other dogs and I could see that little sparkle in her eyes. You can tell she wants love, but needs someone to show her that human hands aren’t scary. I really think that outside of the rescue environment, in a home where she can get the one on one attention that she needs, in time she will come out of her shell. Don’t let this lovely lady wait too long, she needs that special person to give her another chance at life

13-02-24 UPDATE
Remmy has had 19 teeth removed at the time of her spay and is recovering well but will benefit from a softer food diet going forwards.

26-02-24 UPDATE

Remmy is a beautiful, quiet soul who desperately needs to break free of kennels. Whilst all her friends run around in the yard she prefers to stay on the side lines and watch and while I yearn for her to play alongside her companions, kennels just isn’t the right environment for this sensitive little soul.
We are introducing Remmy to human interaction at a slow and steady pace and today I sat in the yard with her whilst she basked in the sunshine and I managed to capture some beautiful photos. This week we will begin with some harness training, and once comfortable enough with having a harness placed upon her will we then attempt walking around the yard so that one day she can go explore the outside world.
I’m not sure what this poor girl has been through but love, time and patience is what she needs right now and I just hope someone gives her the chance and sees how special she truly is.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
