Dylan ^
|
13-08-24 Dylan is an amazing boy who is so affectionate and loving. He just wants to be loved and be a part of your day. Dylan came to us from a home where he was very loved but because he started having seizures his owners felt unable to cope and made a difficult decision. Dylan is currently in foster with a staff member and has had a couple of seizures since his arrival, he has started medication for this which will be ongoing and he will be monitored via blood tests. This is unlikely to be covered by insurance so adopters will need to be able to provide this for Dylan. Dylan is a very sweet boy who loves to be fussed, will rest his head on your lap for endless cuddles and attention. He would prefer to be an only dog so he can be the star of the show but he would need to be kept company throughout the day and have lots of love and enrichment. We've been told Dylan does gets on well with small dogs but can be a little scared of larger dogs. Dylan already knows how to walk on a lead and loves to go out for walks. He can live with dog savvy children who are respectful of his needs and we have been told he's used to be around the families visiting children. Dylan is really missing his creature comforts, in his old home he used to have three beds on top of each other for extra cozy-ness. Dylan loves to say hello to everyone he meets, he has started to learn to give paw for a treat and just wants to be everyone's best friend. Please don't keep this darling boy waiting long.
09-09-24 UPDATE
Please don’t let Dylan’s medical history put you off, he is such a good dog! He genuinely have SO much love to give and is so loyal to his ‘people’. Dylan follows you everywhere and gets along with other dogs well. Dylan can be homed with dog savvy children, he can also go by himself or with other quiet dogs in the house. Dylan needs someone around majority of the time to monitor him. If he’s ever left unattended, he needs to be in a safe area away from other dogs. Dylan walks on a lead, he's clean in the house, he’s a delight to groom, he LOVES his food (he is on a slight diet). Dylan will make the most perfect companion. He is so cuddly and considers himself a lap dog.
