12-08-24 Tina is a sweet girl who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She has arrived with cauliflower ears. She is a shy girl who is much happier when she is around other dogs and really takes confidence from them. She does enjoy a gentle fuss and in a home environment she will settle quickly and we think she will learn to give her trust more easily. She has a heart of gold and is so kind to her kennel friends. She will need at least one kind resident dog in her new home to help her adjust to home life and snuggle up with. She will need to learn all about house training and how to walk on a lead which she will learn most easily by copying her canine companion. She will need your time and patience as she learns all these new things but in time she will relax and really discover her own personality and then she will begin to shine. Tina has a Grade 4 Heart Murmur which does not currently require medication but will need to be monitored by adopters vets.

28-08-24 UPDATE
I'm surprised Tina hasn't been Snapped up yet! She is the sweetest girl. She walks slowly on the lead but better when she is with a friend, she will need a resident dog to help her gain some more confidence and help settle her into home life. She is a pretty chilled out lady who loves nothing more than having cuddles so she wouldn't need a very active home, just somewhere she will have a nice chilled walk and plenty of fuss. Tina absolutely adores people, as soon as you enter the kennel she comes straight up to you for some attention. She is such a placid girl with the gentlest of souls.

04-09-24 UPDATE
Miss Tina is a trooper that has been through a lot recently. Following her last update, she has since had a vital life-saving op (a lateral wall resection on her right ear and a total ear canal ablation). We were hoping her operation would’ve been straight forward, although we were aware of the risks and in total, the need for the operation did outweigh this.
Although the operation went well, Tina has since had some complications that has meant that she has unfortunately lost sight in her left eye and has some facial paralysis on the same side as well as leaving her with a slight head tilt. This has been awful for us to experience here at the rescue, and it’s so sad that although we try out absolute best, sometimes things don’t go as planned.
Please consider Miss Tina, as she’s been nothing but a superstar throughout all of this and has kept her spirits up. She is still the same adorable girl that she was before, and although she’s facing some setbacks, this operation does mean she’ll still have a healthier and longer life. She will still happily wonder over to you and step onto your lap for a quiet fuss and in an ideal world, just wants to be a lap dog-like companion. Tina is utterly gorgeous through and through and deserves the cosiest sofa, and nothing but love, so if you think you can give that to this incredible lady, then please apply to adopt her.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
