01-09-2024 Dasha is a stunning Russian Terrier who has come to us to find her forever home. She is a lovely, calm and gentle girl who has been good with everyone she meets. We don't know if she has lived in a home before but Dasha knows how to walk on a lead so if she needs house training this shouldn't take her too long to pick up. We are looking for a home who have had Russian Terriers before or who have thoroughly researched the breed. She will need daily grooming and regular trips to the groomers so her adopters need to take that expense into account. Dasha could live with a large male dog or in the right circumstances we may consider homing her as an only dog. She is a dog who is going to turn heads when you take her out so if you have the knowledge and experience she needs to ensure she has the perfect life with you please put an application form so this beautiful girl can find her forever home. Dasha is a gorgeous, strong Russian Terrier in search of her forever home! This sweet and gentle girl has a very calm nature and is wonderful with everyone she meets and will instantly appreciate cuddles pets and affection from all! While we’re unsure if she’s lived in a home before, Dasha walks very well on a lead, although she can pull strong a little bit. House training Dasha should come easily if needed as she is smart and very responsive. We’re looking for adopters who are either experienced with Russian Terriers or have done thorough research on the breed and know what challenges may be faced in the future. Dasha requires daily grooming and regular professional grooming appointments, so potential owners should be prepared for those extra commitments. She may do well living with a large male dog, although we’re open to placing her as an only dog in the right situation. With her gorgeous striking appearance, Dasha is sure to turn heads wherever she goes. If you have the expertise and dedication to give her the wonderful life she deserves, we’d love to hear from you. 17-09-24 UPDATE
Dasha has seen our vets to have an abscess on her face drained and cleaned, the vets have noted this could have been caused by her scratching her ear and have treated her ear at the same time, she is recovering well.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
ADOPTION DETAILS
If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
