If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

03-09-24 Bamboo is a darling girl who has such a gentle personality, she seems happy to accept anything a person can offer her, whether thats a look or a cuddle. She has come to us from a breeder to find her forever family and experience all the joys life has to offer in her golden years. Bamboo has such a sweet disposition and offers us a waggy tail, she is easy to handle and needs to be shown lots of love. Bamboo is such a heartbreaker as she is quite quiet and appears to have just accepted her lot in life, we cannot wait  for her to see how special and deserving of only the very best life has to offer her! Bamboo gets on well with all dogs here and happily snuggles up to them for cuddles at night, she enjoys pottering around the playyard. Bamboo is looking for a home with at least one confident, kind resident dog that she can copy and gain confidence from in new situations. Bamboo has never lived in a home before so will need understanding adopters happy to help her learn new skills such as housetraining and learning to walk on a lead/harness when she is ready. Bamboo has arrived underweight and is currently on multiple meals a day to help her reach a healthier weight which adopters will need to continue. Bamboo has a large mammary lump that our vets have said they will remove when she is neutered. Bamboo is such a special girl who is tugging at all of her hearts and she cannot wait to finally be accepted into a loving home and become a cherished member of the family at last. Bamboo has a pets travel document.

10-09-24 UPDATE
Bamboo has seen our vets to be neutered and had a mammary mass removed which has been kept and adopters can send off for testing if they wish. Bamboo also had a dental at the same time with 4 teeth extracted (including 1 canine) and is recovering well.

17-09-24 UPDATE
Bamboo has had the mamary lump removed sent off for testing, we are awaiting results. She has had an inhouse blood test which the vets have noted was unremarkable. Bamboo does have a mild bilateral ear infection which she is receiving treatment for.

27-09-24 UPDATE
We have now had the test results for our darling Bamboo and sadly the news is sad. Bamboos lumps did contain cancer and this type of cancer can spread quite easily to lymph nodes and other areas. Her prognosis therefore is not good and we are looking for a palliative care home so she can enjoy the rest of her days which sadly will be far fewer than she should be having. We understand this is hard and it is such a diffcult thing to take on a dog, knowing that your time will be shorter than it should be and your heart may be broken too soon. It takes someone very strong and compassionate to see the positives in adopting a dog like Bamboo. To know that she has never had a good life and be determined that he will be free for her last days instead of behind bars. To want to give her the world and a lifetime of love in a short space of time is an amazing thing. She deserves a bucket list, to enjoy an icecream on the beach, to choose any toy she wants from the pet store, to have a duvet day, the possibilities are endless. Please give her everything she has missed out on for as long as she has left.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
