If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

21-09-24 Mochi has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She has a grade 1-2 heart murmur that needs no treatment at this time but may need to be monitored in the future. She has arrived needing  ear meds for sore ears. She has had a course of ear treatment and the vet recommends weekly ear cleaning for the future so please be aware of this and happy to give her these.
She is a young dog but she has not seen much of the world before so is feeling shy and overwhelmed at the moment. She doesnt come forwards or ask for a fuss just yet but she will settle in our arms and is very easy to handle. She relies on the dogs around her to lend her some much needed confidence so will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help her settle into home life. She will need to learn how to walk on a lead and home skills such as house training. She will need your time and patience as she learns these new things and so much more but in time she will relax and begin to shine. She has a PETS travel document.

03-10-24 UPDATE

Mochi is a beautiful, but very scared little girl, who absolutely breaks everyone's hearts at the rescue. She gave me a lump in my throat just watching how worried and unsure she is of us humans when you first meet her. She spends most of the time in her bed cuddled up under a heat lamp when in the kennel, but does stick to her kennel friends once she is in the yard having play time.
Mochi looks to her kennel buddies for reassurance and guidance each and every single day so when she is in her forever home she will most definitely need another calm but confident resident dog to help her flourish each day. Mochi is very nervous of people in general and doesn't approach you but once you approach her and give her a tickle she will allow you to pick her up and she will have a cuddle on your lap. She will even close her eyes once she is settled, so in time she will truly be a cuddly and most loving girly you could dream for. But her new family will need to understand that she is a scared and unsure ex breeding girl who just needs to be shown that us humans ain't all bad and we can give her all the love that she deserves.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
