03-10-2024 Finn is a beautiful and confident boy who has come to us from a breeder. He is a strong guy who loves people and other dogs. He can be a bit tricky when it comes to sharing with his furry friends, and would need some patience and practice. He loves to be outside and play and would suit best in a home that is just as active as he is. He gets along with male and female dogs and could live with them, or could be an only dog as well. Finn is so out-going and likes to show off his energetic personality. If you are looking for a best friend where you can enjoy the outdoor life, walking for miles and having heapds of fun playing games then this boy is waiting for you

17-10-24 UPDATE

Finn is just the classic, gorgeous version of a springer spaniel. He’s busy, full of beans raring to go and just loves life. He’s good with people, and he loves his best mate ‘Bobby’ a lab who he shares a kennel with (he can be a bit protective over food and toys in his kennels) but when out in the yard as long as he has his own tennis ball to hold onto and play with he’s well behaved. I can’t fault this boy he’s just one of those dogs you can’t help but get on with. Anyone that has a soft spot for springers will fall in love with this boy I’m sure. Finn would love a home that has a big garden to explore and humans that have plenty of time to take him out for adventures and hang out with him, he can be a little strong on the lead but is quite responsive so I think will soon learn to walk well. He does have a very inquisitive spaniel nose, and he’s favourite thing in the world is sniffing, so it will be very important his new family teach him a good recall. All in all if you’re looking for a great active family companion and have plenty of time and energy to enjoy him, Finn is your boy. Finn could go as an only to the right home or with other dogs subject to a successful meet and greet, children over the age of 8 would be suitable (dog savvy children, he might be a bit bouncy if children are nervous and not used to dogs).

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
