If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

04-10-24 Dodger is a handsome chap who has come from his breeder to find a loving home. He has come to us with cherry eyes that our vet will  repair and his skin is a little sore, we are hopeful this can be supplmented with a healthy diet. This fella is SO much fun! He is absolutely larger than life and so full of character. He has bags of energy and can be a bit of a bull in a china shop! He will leap all over you in the hope of getting all of your attention and being the star of the show. He is a bit much to be rehomed with kids and people who may not be steady on their feet. He has a very kind and honest nature, he is just a bit bonkers! He is confident enough to be the only dog in his new home but will need to learn all about house training and other such home skills. He is a beginner on a lead and needs a bit more practice and encouragement. Dodger is hilarious and will make you smile every day.

11-10-24 UPDATE
Dodger has had his cherry eye's repaired at the time of his castrate and they are healing well.

17-10-24 UPDATE

Dodger the bulldog, is an absolute bundle of energy and joy! He is so sweet and loving on the first meeting and wants nothing more than your attention and hugs! It is pretty impossible to take a picture of this dude as he just instantly wants to be around you! Dodger came to us from a breeding centre and therefore has never lived in a warm cosy loving home. We would love for someone to give dodger this opportunity! As he has never lived in a home he will need to be taught basic house training and will need some patience to improve his lead walking skills, in fact the only time Dodger isn’t a super confident happy boy is when he’s on the lead. Dodger would be happy to go to a home as an only dog, or possibly with some doggy friends. However Dodger would need homing in an adult only house as you’d need to be fairly hands on with Dodger requiring lots of attention. Dodger is a good boy who will make whoever adopts him very very happy.

05-11-2024 UPDATE

Dodger is a fantastic boy who originally came to us from a breeder but is loving all the fuss and love that comes from rescue life. And if this is how he feels now, just imagine what he’d be like in a home. He's a lovely sweet boy who is extremely happy to be accompanied by you, and yearns for your attention. This means he's a perfect only dog but there is the option of him being homed with another dog providing they're not put off by his bouncy playful nature. He is a perfect all/round gentleman who doesn’t get jealous of the attention he wants from you as an owner if you’re paying attention to another dog! Due to this playful nature we think it’s best that he goes to a home with children who aren’t too small. He's currently learning to walk on a lead and is coming along with encouragement nicely, but it helps that he's highly motivated by food and human contact! Dodger is just a lovely boy who’s time is being wasted her at kennels. I can guarantee he will bring a lot of smiles, laughs and good times with whoever decides to give this fella a chance

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
