If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

03-11-24 Teddy has come to us from a home through no fault of his own due to a case of hoarding and neglect. He has some hair loss and flaky skin at the moment which is being treated with medicated baths and with TLC and a good diet his fur should hopefully grow back soon. He also has a narrow ear canal on his left ear which our vets have assessed. Teddy is a very nervous boy who looks at you with the saddest little eyes. He is unsure of human love right now but with love and kindness in the right home he will truly start to thrive. Although Teddy has lived in a home before, we are unsure if he is house trained and so he might need to learn all about this as well as how to walk on a lead. He has is happy to be picked up and handled and he should soon start to come out of his shell. Teddy may be homed as an only dog in the right circumstance, as he is such an out-going boy! Teddy is a lovely boy who so deserves to find his happily ever after.

01-12-24 UPDATE
Teddy has completely let his hair down and put his feet up here at the rescue now that he’s settled, and he is SUCH a character!!! He absolutely oozes confidence and just loves everyone he meets instantly. He is super snuggly and affectionate and loves nothing more than curling up on your lap and going to sleep. He could definitely now be homed as an only dog, but his adopters would need to be home most of the time so he doesn’t get lonely.
Teddy will also 100% want to join them on the sofa and in the bedroom at nighttime, so this must be welcomed with open arms! He can be homed with teenagers who would be happy to have lots of cuddles with him.
Teddy has learnt how to walk on a harness since he arrived and he’s doing very well, but he does still get a little timid in busy areas. This is something that will definitely improve over time as he gets used to it, and I think once he’s more confident he’s going to absolutely love joining his family on adventures!
Please don’t keep this little man waiting too much longer. He really is raring to go!!
