If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

05-11-24 Coconut is a sprightly girl that has come to us from a hoarding home, and has unfortunately endured some neglect along the way. She has come to us with some skin irritations and scaring on her eyes . Although she may have had a tough past, she is still very lively and brave enough to come up and check out what is going on after spending some time with you. Coconut has learnt how to walk on a lead and is doing really with this. She can be homed as the only dog in her new home.  Coconut would suit best in a home with adults as she has not been around children, and may need a quiet space as she settles into her new home. Coconut is a great and brave girl that is looking for someone to take a chance on her.

14-11-24 UPDATE

I had the pleasure of spending time with Coconut today. She is such a lovely lady with an amazing personality. She loves having cuddles off people, especially those who give belly rubs! She shares her kennel well with her friend Mars and enjoys going out for playtime. Coconut is a happy lady! Today I took her out for some harness training to see how she would do and I must say she did very well! She was a little nervous at first with all the new surroundings but once she had time to take it all in, she began to take it all in her stride.
We even passed some cats on our journey, she was a little intrigued but there was no issues otherwise, so it's possible she might be able to live with a chilled out cat.

21-11-2024 UPDATE

Here’s how Coconut is doing: ? Adjusting to dogs: After her past experiences, Coconut is understandably nervous around other dogs. She’s been very nervous of her foster siblings, but day by day, she’s learning they’re friendly and safe. ? Loving humans: Coconut is an absolute sweetheart when it comes to people. She craves companionship, following her foster family everywhere and wanting to be close at all times. She’s happiest when sitting on their lap or at their feet, soaking up all the affection she can get. ? Clean and clever: Coconut has been clean in the house since day one—a huge achievement! ? Exploring at her own pace: The outside world feels overwhelming to Coconut right now, but she loves outings in her dog stroller, where she can safely watch the world go by. She’s already showing signs of confidence, and we’re sure she’ll soon be ready to take her first brave steps outside. ? A little fashionista: Coconut doesn’t mind wearing her harness, lead, or her adorable jumper—she’s ready to impress when the time comes! Coconut has come so far in such a short time, and we’re incredibly proud of her progress. She’s showing us every day what a resilient and loving dog she is. She’s still on her journey, but we’re confident this little fighter will thrive in the right forever home.
